Also, I don't like Naito. Can't put my finger on why.

Just wanna throw this out there - this week I'm going to take a gamble on the podcast and talk exclusively about the G-1 Climax and New Japan, since there are a good few people talking about it in here, and I don't want to start a new thread to clutter shit up. So three questions to you all:
1) Who do you think was the star of the G-1 Climax? 2) What was your favourite match of the G-1? 3) What do you think New Japan's direction will be between now and Wrestle Kingdom? Elaborate as much as you like, I'll be reading your thoughts on the show and crediting you (leave a real name if you'd like), but this one will be a lot of fun to do as a massive New Japan fan. If you wish to post any other thoughts on the New Japan product to talk about on the podcast, feel free. |

1)
-AJ Styles. He had tremendous matches throughout the tournament and definitely rose his stock in the company. -Tomohiro Ishii. Cmon. He had 2 match of the days AFTER SEPARATING HIS SHOULDER 2) -Toss up. Nakamura vs, Ishii, Styles vs. Suzuki or Okada/Nakamura. Honorable mention to Nagata/Ishii. 3) It kinda has to be all of the top NJPW stars against the Bullet Club right? |

I wonder if one of GFW's first marquee matches with be Hiroshi Tanahashi stepping onto US soil to battle AJ Styles? Random thought.

Seeing as how I go in and out of follow puro every few years, besides how amazing New Japan has been the last couple years, is anything of note going on with All Japan and NOAH? I haven't followed either of them probably since Misawa's death and I haven't seen anything significant of note come from them on social media, etc. in a long time.

It's a roundtable show with a different topic each week, and we source answers and comments from a bunch of different boards so it's pretty interactive. So far the topics we've done are... 1 - Who Should Have Been A Top Guy 2 - Cutting The WWE Roster 3 - What Does Wrestling Need in 2014 4 - Who Is The Best Big Man In Wrestling History? 5 - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly of 1994 6 - The Trial of Triple H 7 - The Underrated In Pro Wrestling 8 - The Overrated In Pro Wrestling 9 - The Highs And Lows Of TNA 10 - The Good, The Bad & Ugly of 2000 If you get a chance to check it out, let me know what you think, feedback is always appreciated B-) |
