Luke Harper is so fucking underrated
Just glad that Erik Rowan has replaced him as the "fall guy" for the Wyatt family. Fuck Rowan, LUKE #1

Agree completely. It's actually frustrating, because if they'd treated him right when he left the Wyatt's the first time he could have been a main event player as a psychopath who was actually tame by comparison under the watch of Bray. A potentially truly scary character and he's so good...

Someone said it here (was it Noid?) that Harper is this generation's Kane. And i'd agree. Competent worker, can have a decent match with almost anyone, and is believable enough to be the credible jobber-to-the-stars or the championship contender when need be.

I don't know if I worded it like that, but I see him as one of the few believable monsters the WWE has in today's day and age. Guys like Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan aren't in fashion. Fans are going to judge them too hard on their workrate, and the idea of it all being a work is going to get even kids to see through the "scary" act. Luke Harper is good enough in the ring and he plays a character close enough to "real" that it can actually scare some people.
And the dude is so good in the ring. For a while it was only him and Cesaro that were keeping me watching. |

It's so depressing that a thread like this can be made for about 90% of the roster.

Totally agree. He's really solid in the ring and has done good work with pretty much everyone he has had a program with. I would much rather see Undertaker vs Harper at WM over Strowman, but I think everyone pretty much universally agrees with that.

I'd be okay with a Luke Harper/Braun Strowman Tag Title run.

I've been a fan of his for a while, and yes, he is a great "gate keeper" to the main event/upper mid carder. He can move wicked quick for a guy his size and is super agile.

I was excited when he was getting that singles push. He hasn't been buried too terribly as of late. Great showing in the Rumble. Definitely one of my favorites.

Why do you say that... he seems extremely boring to me...
Has he had "really good matches" in the past or something... Maybe it's "the way he has been booked" but have never seen anything interesting or exciting at all about any of his matches and don't think I have ever heard him even speak... Curious why everyone in this thread thinks he is "good" for some reason... |

Dude is a fucking freak in the ring. You must have missed his good stuff. To be honest, the stuff I was mentioning was months ago. He could still be tearing it up, but I don't watch as closely.

I don't think he is underrated tbh. When you listen to his podcast with Jericho they both mention how the agents know they can put him in the ring with anyone and he will deliver.
I would agree that his singles run could have been handled better but I think they know they have some real talent on their hands with him. It's just a little difficult with how to book a member of the Wyatt Family when they're no longer in the Wyatt Family I suppose. |

With Zoolander coming out, they should give Harper a model gimmick. Tag team with Breeze.
