Not happy about him signing with the Rockets. Him leaving isnt an issue to me, but the Rockets dont have the players the Warriors had for a sign-and-trade.
I just hope the Lakers don't pick up Jeremy Lin. That dude is overpaid, and I really believe the Lakers have a shot at Melo next summer. |

lol, you have gotta be kidding me. That has to be a joke.
If i were the Lakers, i'd S&T his ass anyway. If he wants to stay because the money, he's staying for the wrong reasons from a basketball perspective. It's a game of chemistry, and if someone doesnt wanna be in a jersey, it usually shows on the court. |

OJ Mayo has all the traits you just named off regarding Ellis.
Suppose you have a point in terms of pay though. Get virtually the same player, just cheaper. |

Hey guys! Did you all hear that D12 is shitting on Los Angeles?
Did you see how Doc Rivers shat on Boston? Do you know the one thing I love more than the Los Angeles Lakers being shit? Them being shit while the Clippers are title contenders!!! Can't wait to see Good old Jack sitting by Billy Crystal at the Clippers games. |

and for the record I dont ever want to see LeBron in a Lakers jersey.
If Dwight leaves, the Lakers are still a strong team, dont get THAT wrong. Doc Rivers is a shit coach, and the Clippers will be no better with him on the sidelines. |

Dwight supposedly is pissed off at the ridicule of him being a flip flopper. Rockets haven't officially confirmed he's signed with them yet but Dwight updated his Twitter profile to show off a Rockets jersey. |

Why would he leave a team where he's winning titles, has an entire organization around him, and HE'S WINNING TITLES?
Just to go to stupid assed LA? If he went to LA I would stop watching basketball. Fuck the Lakers. |

So...Lakers Nation has taken to the airwaves to display their butthurt over being shunned by D12.
While their collective Vaginas gape, Josh Smith leaves Atlanta for Detroit. Atlanta Fans cheer everywhere. There are rumors that Monte Ellis will be coming to Atlanta. |

look at his coaching record?
Wish I could post it from Wiki, but i'm too stupid to know how. Anyway, apart from the spike from 07-10 (when the big 3 were formed and before they got old) the guy has rarely put up a coaching record 10 games above .500 That's why he wanted out of Boston...the guy cant create something out of what he has like a Greg Popovich can. |

As far as i'm concerned, the Lakers are in a better position now that they would be WITH him. Next year they'll make the playoffs, but barring a Cinderella run like the Celts made a few years ago, they wont be making the finals. After that, only ONE player under contract, some big free agents and restricted free agents, and a deep draft class. The Laker franchise doesnt stay down for long and I've seen a worse roster on the chart do just fine. |

Yeah, I'm not shedding any tears over Dwight leaving the Lakers. If anything, it puts us in the position to pick up some solid role players/bench players

Caveman? Thats a solid signing...didnt think they'd sign anyone.
If we land Lamar for the min-MLE, that's a pretty nice couple moves to help the rotation. |

Lol at lakers fags trying to convince themselves it's no biggie Dwight left.
A superstar center walked for nothing. You might not like him, and he might not fit the team, but you went from Bynum, to Howard, to Kaman and this team is far worse. Kobe IMO Kay getting older and worse. Good luck nabbing any superstars. Durant will never leave the thunder which had a better front office and another top 10 player under 25 as well as Ibaka to go to la to play with Kobe's rotting corpse Lebron isn't leaving Miami. Lakers will be a middle of the road team this year, and will continue to get worse as Kobe fades away. |

He didn't wanna be in LA. There's no point in us fans wanting him to stay and crying about him leaving if he just doesn't want to be here

Your team got worse. Dont ignore it. Accept it. Nash is an aging albatross and your rotation is shit. Who cares if he wanted to be there. Hes a premier talent and he walked.
So Cleveland should have not cared when Lebron left? |

The difference between what happened with Lebron and Cleveland and this Dwight thing is that 80% of LA was expecting Dwight to jump ship, so the situations aren't comparable.

I take comfort that our team getting worse is still a playoff team.
Hanso is clearly trolling, because I believe I (and other Laker fans on the forum) have clearly stated that the squad next season won't be a contender barring an amazing run. And as for "nabbing" superstars, it's never been an issue...especially when the Lakers have the cap space to sign max players. And Kevin Durant isnt a free agent next season, when all the cap space is available, so what the fuck are you babbling about anyway? |
