Yeah, there was a rumour the Ice Cimbers and Young Link were out and Wind Waker Link would be in but looks like that was just rumour after all.
I like seeing the updates and stuff but my only problem is the secrets being posted online or on the site after the game is released in Japan. I'm going to try and avoid having the secrets spoiled for me. Avoiding TP spoilers was a real pain but I did it, so hoping to pull it off with SSBB as well. |

Golden Hammer
It’s a golden hammer. Just like the title says. It appears on a very important-looking pedestal. It’s even more powerful than a normal hammer. And it’s even rarer. Swing, swing, swing the hammer! This hammer drops with fearsome force! Not only does it boast increased power, but you also swing it faster. ...And it may have even more effects. If you rapidly tap the button... You can float in mid-air! What is this?! As far as hooks go, this is pretty odd. It may even be a little hardcore. By the way... The normal hammer was known to occasionally lose its head... Ever have this misfortune happen to you? This item also occasionally malfunctions... And it is then apparently called the Golden Squeaky Hammer. Squeak-squeak-squeak-squeak! |

Wi-Fi Play
This game supports Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. If you connect your Wii to the Internet, you can enjoy linked battles with people far away!
For details, click here. (Here if you're in America or Canada. The other link is for the UK Wi-Fi site ~ Drakul) But because this form of communication is greatly affected by the distance between you and your opponent, your brawls may not run smoothly if you’re really far apart – like, for instance, if you’re connecting between Japan and America. The farther away you are, the worse your connection becomes, and the slower it feels. I apologise, but I hope you’ll understand. This is the main menu for Wi-Fi! There are two primary connection methods. The names of these methods are "With Friends" and "With Anyone". The menus and structures of each method are pretty different. With Friends Wii Friends who have registered one another’s names can play together freely. Register your Friends! If you’re registered as Wii Friends, you can check each other’s status. If a Friend is online and you earn his or her consent, you can enter a battle. You can change your icon... ...and even send short messages during brawls! These short messages are entered in advance, and you send them by taunting. There are four messages for the four directions on the +Control Pad: Up, down, left and right. With your Wii Friends, you can brawl any way you like. And there are other modes besides just free-for-alls With Anyone You can also battle with people you don’t know who are looking for brawls. The most important point here is that you will not know each other’s names. If you think of your opponent as a simple scarecrow, any psychological barriers may melt away. Your opponent will not know your name or any information about you, and neither of you can send short messages. There will also be no battle records kept for this mode, so whether you win or lose, it doesn’t matter. Just sit back and play. Now, while you’re waiting for a match to start, you can kill time with a little practice on Sandbag. Practice, practice! We’re planning a number of services that make use of Wi-Fi, but we’ll reveal them gradually with the other modes. Enjoy. Last edited by Drakul; 09-18-2007 at 03:11 AM. |

The Enemies From Subspace
The enemies in Super Smash Bros. Brawl: The Subspace Emissary are called the Subspace Army!
Right now, I’d like to introduce some of the more powerful ones. ROADER This enemy looks like a motorised unicycle. These guys ride around in groups, and are both fast and powerful. POPPANT Their bucket trousers are filled with presents and sweets. If you approach these cowards, they’ll flee. BYTAN Leave these enemies be and they’ll multiply in a flash. Destroy them before they become too much trouble! TROWLON This creature will use its trowel-like arms to lift characters up and fly off with them. SHAYDAS This unpleasant, fog-like enemy has a weak spot at the core of its chest! AUROROS This bird dives from above, piercing the ground. You can pull out any Auroros that sticks itself into the ground. GREAP It’s HUGE! It attacks by swinging two sickles down upon you. Its red head is its weak spot. The R.O.B. Squad The escort the Ancient Minister brings with him is a R.O.B squad?! There are some that fire beams and others that fire missiles. There are other enemies that will appear and try to impede your progress. Good luck! Don’t lose! And don’t run away! |

Piplup
This is one of the Pokémon you can choose at the beginning of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It’s quite charming, so I’m sure there were quite a few people who chose it. It emerges from the Poké Ball! Suddenly, it starts sliding around using Surf! The simpler the stage, the greater the effect of this may be. If you’re wondering why, it’s because anyone who gets caught up in that surf will get washed away with Piplup. They’re getting washed away! If you get washed away, do what you can to get back. Even simple characters like this really stir things up on stages. |

Snake
The legendary mercenary makes his miraculous Smash debut! This law-breaking news roared around the world. He comes fully-loaded with cool and showy weapons that only he could possess. Fusing these together with the different wondrous worlds on display really does offer new horizons. They also put up some music from MGS4 that will appear in the game over on the site. |

Snake: Special Moves
It’s not just Snake’s special moves that use military hardware – so do his smash attacks. Can that be?
He’s shooting something up in the air! He’s planting something! Side Special Move: Remote Missile This is called a Nikita. It’s a remote-controlled missile. Missile fired! You can control the missile yourself! But since Snake is so focused on controlling the missile, he’s completely defenceless while he does so. If things get dangerous, press the shield button to stop controlling the missile. Standard Special Move: Hand Grenade Try walking around with the pin out. Press your special-move button to pull out the pin. The grenade will explode after a few seconds, so be aware of the time and press the special-move button again to toss the grenade. Strong throw!-------Mid throw!-------Soft throw! There are three ways to throw the grenade. Tilt the Control Stick forwards, not at all, or backwards In some cases, grenades you drop may get returned to sender. And his recovery special move is... Up Special Move: Cypher Oh! Watch out! In times like this... Shoosh-shoosh-shoosh-shoosh-shoosh! Use his flying reconnaissance camera, the Cypher, to recover. Snake can’t fly, but he’ll do what he must. He’ll use anything in the battlefield. That’s the crux of survival. |

Trophies
What are trophies? These are solid objects that appear as prizes and offer explanations of characters!
You can check out the poses and learn the backgrounds of a variety of characters. Characters in solid form, complete with explanations! You can view them from a variety of angles. Whirrrrrreeee... You’re going to get a lot of these, so we’ve added images of them to the list to make them easier to identify. You can arrange them by series. And you can line them all up. This can’t be outdoors, can it? Take a look at these, for example, if you want to learn more about a character you saw in the background in Smash. Or when your interest in a particular character’s back-story has been piqued, and you want to learn more about them. Having trophies that explain your characters is quite useful. And, in a bonus mode, you can even create something like this. Choose several trophies and place them however you like! You can even change the background. It’s all up to you. Since we’ve gone to the trouble of gathering all these universes together, I hope you’ll enjoy gaining a deeper understanding of these characters. It’s with that intent that we’re all working so hard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I knew trophies would be back. I'm sure I'm not the only one that prefers trophies to stickers. |

Diddy Kong: Final Smash
Rocketbarrel Barrage The weapons Diddy Kong wields are his Peanut Popgun and his Rocketbarrel Boost. His Final Smash makes superb use of both of these weapons! He has popguns in both hands! And his rocketbarrels are firing! He flies majestically through the sky! Wow! The controls make it feel like you’re flying with a rocket pack! It’s really fun. Tilt his body left and right to move. It’s a popgun barrage! Explosions everywhere! The Peanut Popgun fires straight down, so you change the peanut firing angles by tilting Diddy left to right. I highly suggest mastering this. When time runs out, the rocketbarrels explode! Plus, you can gobble up the peanuts that fall to the ground. Will you be enjoying some? No? Well, your opponents can eat the peanuts, too. So when your shots don’t hit, your opponents end up recovering damage instead of taking it. |

Mr. Resetti
It’s Mr. Resetti from Animal Crossing. At long last he makes his appearance! Th-there he is!!! I’m just going to come out and say it: when Mr. Resetti appears, all he does is lecture you. Whether you’ve reset the game or not, he just lectures... Huh? What’s that, Mr. Resetti? Oh! Umm... Sorry about that... Uh... Umm... I suppose you would. My mistake... (...This is so long...) With Mr. Resetti, you can enjoy these..."helpful" lectures, even in Smash. He’s an Assist Trophy like no other. |

Maybe this means that there will be an Animal Crossing character in the game. I'm loving Resetti!
I didn't really have any interest in this game (I think I'm the only one), but I"m starting to kind of want it now. Snake is fucking hilarious to see in it. |

Yeah, an AC character is likely considering there is an AC stage, music and two AC items so far. Snake should be fun to play as. Supposedly, he wont be the only 3rd party character in the game. Sakurai, the guy that's in charge of making the game, says there's going to be 1 or 2 other 3rd party characters in addition to Snake. As long as they have been on a Nintendo console and they can get the rights to use them in the game.
Obviously, everyone is assuming one of the other guys will be Sonic. |

Pokémon Trainer: Final Smash
Triple Finish It’s the Pokémon Trainer’s Final Smash: Triple Finish! It combines the powers of Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard! Any one of them can get the Smash Ball. Go! Triple Finish! It’s super effective! ...So, what is with that text window below? Squirtle = Hydro Pump Ivysaur = Solar Beam Charizard = Fire Blast These are the moves they use. Isn’t it a beautiful combination? A fire-type attack, a water-type attack and a grass-type attack? (Not really.) If an opposing Pokémon gets the Smash Ball, at the very least take care to not be standing immediately beside it. When you’re particularly close, it hurts. FLEE! |

Tourney
What is Tourney mode?!
This is a mode that determines which player stands victorious on the summit after winning many battles against many foes! I won’t go into much detail, so just try it out for yourself. Take advantage of its robust tourney-generating functions! Still, we’re working seriously to make this mode fun for everyone. However, you can also play this by yourself against computer opponents, so try it out if you’re so inclined. |

I hope there's an Animal Crossing character. Mii support would be awesome too. Have a move set for a Mii, and just use whatever Mii you want. They should attack with a Wiimote and nunchuck.
