Best of Kurt Angle DVD/Bluray?
Sorry in advance if anyone feels this should have gone in the DVD Releases thread. I just figured it was a big enough topic to have its own thread for a while. Feel free to move it over to the appropriate thread.
Does anyone think that we'll get a best of Kurt DVD/Bluray anytime soon? I heard years ago one of the reasons they hadn't done one yet was because of the amount of blurring that would have been required for the old WWF logo on most of Kurt's footage. Now that blurring the old logo is no longer an issue, do you guys think we'll see one anytime soon? Or will we have to wait until Kurt retires or leaves TNA for one more WWE run? Would you guys be interested in seeing this? Also, what are some of the matches and feuds you would want to see featured? |

I'm not sure we will ever get one while he is actively working for TNA. Maybe if he leaves and either retires or rejoins WWE we will get one, but until then I doubt they'd want to promote another company's talent like that.
That being said, I would love a DVD about Kurt, charting his journey to Olympics first and then into wwf/e. |

The way TNA seems to work they'd probably allow him to work on it while he was there and promote it for him on Impact. Supposedly they've been planning a Sting one for years even with him being under contract there. I think the big problem was all the Benoit stuff in his career, how do you work around that and explain why he left without bringing up him being batshit crazy, you really need him on board to do it without glossing/skipping over big chunks of his career in the WWE.

And hasn't he spent as much time in TNA as he had in WWE?

Hasn't TNA already released a "Best of" Kurt Angle dvd set before?
Could see him getting the DVD treatment by the WWE if they ever brought him back in some capacity or bought out TNA in the future. |

If Kurt Angle left TNA and signed a contract with the WWE, then I could definitely see them doing a DVD on Angle. A few actually. One with his story and one with his matches. Money, money, money.
Angle vs. Bryan at WrestleMania XXXI? That would be a tremendous match. |
