According to ESPN's Daily Dime, Artest could be looking at a 1-2 game suspension if Stern goes by the book with the unofficial rules keeping the 10+ more for fights or being dumb like Arenas with guns.
They think its going to be more of the NHL/NFL style where its the same amount of games as the guy who's hurt is out plus a few more games. Could go even more strict based on if the Thunder loose out on the #2 seed and the Lakers somehow got it (1.5 games behind). Edit: My mistake, the article ESPN had was talking about the Spurs being ahead of the Thunder by 1 to 1.5 games at the time. Last edited by Emperor Smeat; 04-24-2012 at 03:08 PM. |

No way we can get the 2 seed. Only have 1 game to play, at Sac.

Rightfully so too. Thunder have looked good this, erm season? Don't know if I'd even call it a season, but they've played really well.

Feel more confident this year than I did last year. Hopefully Metta is back for the 2nd round.

I would prefer the Sixers staying in the 8th seed. They have a better chance of beating The Bulls then The Heat.
I mean they aren't going to beat either team, but they will be more competive games against the Bulls anyway. |

Alright this season's bandwagon was a tremendous disappointment as the Kings were just downright awful on the road.
So now I need to pick a team to root for during the playoffs. Not gonna pick Miami for obvious reasons. Not gonna pick San Antonio either. I don't dislike them but they're just boring to watch. Any suggestions? |

The Suns have to beat the Jazz tonight to even sniff the playoffs. I think they can do it, but they really need the ping pong balls.

Artest gets 7 games. Seems like a pretty fair number.

Bulls locked the #1 seed in the East while the Lakers took their division.
Cs beat the Heat but can still lose home court advantage even though they are a #4 seed if the Hawks beat the Mavs or Cs lose to the Bucks in the final game due to the new rules this year. |

US Attorney investigating growing claims and evidence regarding Billy Hunter spending union funds for the benefits of himself, family members, and close connections while as the executive director of the union.
Supposedly Hunter is being blamed for profiting during the lockout with union funds, creating conflicts of interest by giving non-bid contracts to companies who employ members of his family, and ensuring those with close connections were over paid or got high status jobs in the union. The executive committee might also be in huge trouble since they hinted they knew about all the stuff and did nothing to stop Hunter especially with Hunter and his family making $3-4 million during the lockout which cost the players roughly $400 million. |

Here's hoping that the Bobcats don't get the #1 pick and suck forever. Michael Jordan is a fucking horrible GM.

I need a team in the playoffs too. I'm going to cheer for The Heat because everyone hating them is kind of hilarious. Also, it's going to be a much harder road to the championship for them than people are making it seem.

Derrick Rose being injured again would be great for my Pacers. The Chicago Dulls can suck it.

Pretty sure the majority of the Knicks team is gonna foul out of this game. The amount of fouls called has been insane.

Heat are pretty horrible on the road even though almost everyone except 4-5 teams were this season compared to their home record. If they get the same calls and luck, they still are a shoe-in for the East Finals and maybe now the NBA finals if Rose's injury becomes a huge issue.

Knicks sucked incredibly hard that quarter but if Lebron keeps getting as many calls as he did the Heat will be undefeated in the postseason. He's really upped his flopping game.

Rumors circulating that Rose has a torn ACL and will be out for the playoffs. If that's the case, no stopping the Heat.
