No really, hip hop is garbage. At least in the mainstream sense. Eminem can leave mainstream and be relevant in hip hop's 'indy' equivalent, the underground. He doesn't need MTV videos and gimmicks, he's skill pure and simple. Content may be questionable, even obvious at times, but he'll destroy most of today's so called rappers in 12 bars or less. Matter fact, I wish he would.

The SS LP is my favorite followed by the MM LP and the others just have a few random songs that I like.
But this is a solid album, the only song I'm not that fond of is Same Song & Dance and the accent he does sometimes, but it's a good album regardless. Best one since MM LP. The last track is just amazing and very Slim Shady esque. Last edited by dronepool; 05-07-2009 at 10:34 PM. |

I have an MP3 on my computer of Krispy rapping over the beat from Hail Mary, from like 2003 or 2004. It's fucking awesome and it destroys Eminem.

Okay, seriously, why does he have to use that fucking peewee herman voice on every single fucking song? I like Eminem, but come on, he's like a fucking running joke on this CD.

I agree, there is alot of forgetable songs on the album, but there are some that I do enjoy, Deja Vu and Beautiful, and We made you is just fun to listen to.
Overall though, I didnt think it was as good as his previous albums. |

I like the Crack a Bottle song the best, I like Dre, and 50 a lot in this song. Some of this stuff takes listening to it a couple times to like it. Its a different sound for him, some of it doesn't sound like him. He still talks about the drugs, but its really not like he used to. At least he's not hacking Kim up in all these songs... |

Just cuz the CD is called Relapse doesn't mean every song has to involve junk food. Eminem show he didn't rap about setting up the lighting.
Eminem is on Soulja boy status now. |

I was gonna say something to the tune of that but I didn't stand a chance a comment as absurd as that. Em would eradicate Soulja Boy in the most hilarious fashion. It would be like jumping a retarded kid.

I was saying as of now. I know he could destroy Soulja boy in a freestyle hell I bet you could. but I'd say Eminems new CD is as good Soulja boys latest....AKA they both suck.
I actually never listened to S.B.s CD |

If Eminem did a Will Smith cover album it would still be several leagues above anything from Soulja Boy. Then again, Soulja's not out to make any real statements, so I try not to be so hard on him. He's no Mike Jones in suckage.

Honestly, Relapse is one of the better albums to be released in 2009. Loving how Em went back to his more aggressive side (well besides We Made You). Favorite song off the album would be either Beautiful or Insane. Also loving the little battle going on between Mariah and Em, both produced some good songs about each other.

The voice he uses on this album is just ridiculous and it makes it hard to listen to.
Also, I can't believe there are people who think The Eminem Show is his best album. What the fuck is wrong with you guys? |
