Big win for the Sabres and a tough game between them and the Bruins tonight.
Thomas is a lot better in the shooutout than Rask but at least the B's took a point than having nothing which helps in the end. |

Every year I tell myself I'm gonna get up early and watch all of the deadline. Then I sleep in and worry that I missed everything. And it turns out, I missed fuck all.

The Phoenix Coyotes are a hockey team that plays in the National Hockey League. I occasionally watch a game every now and then and on average go to one or two games a year. Said Coyotes have been playing exceptionally well during the month of February in the year 2012. Personally, I am somewhat moderately pleased of this outcome and I have made this post to express my moderate pleasure. This is the end of my post.

Goodbye Kassian, good luck with that Vancouver Nightlife.
Have yet to see much of Cody Hodgson - fill me in peeps. Apparently he is good, young and is about to be a top two center in Buffalo. |

Decent trades by the Bruins although not sure on how valuable the prospects the Islanders received when they gave up Rolston and Mouttau. Both probably are going to be used for depth reasons than actually take up quality minutes.
The Vancouver-Buffalo trade seems to be the best one done considering both sides appear to benefit equally from the deal. |

Hogdson was a bit of a malcontent. But I'll telll you what he showed up in the big games this year. Buffalo won this trade now and in the future.... as long as Hodgson doesn't get too self absorbed. Given the right environment and more playing time, I'm sure he will be happy as cn be.

When your team is rebuilding, how are you supposed to feel? Happy or sad when they win.
Sure, I'm happy they won but that means farther from a top pick. Never had this happen before. |

Just checked and the exact number is 13. Fucking A. I think that qualifies me as being the Coyotes' #1 fan.
Who the fuck would have guessed Daymond Langkow was still playing |

Phoenix isn't a bad team, their system works well as evidenced by Bryzgalov sucking after he left and Smith tearing up.
Ekman-Larssen I see as captain after Doan leaves or retires. Love Doan, such an underrated and underappreciated player. |

I just hope they don't take as long to get back into the playoffs. I really do feel bad at times making fun of the Leafs. Its not their fault Harold Ballard was an idiot and JFJ wasn't much better.

Vancouver had to trade Hodgson..... He's a Top 6 center and there is no way he gets enough ice time with Kesler & Hank aboive him..... they had to trade him..... Kassian is an excellent pickup for them.....

Pretty good game overall by the Bs against potential playoff opponent Devils. Bs almost managed to give away the game after letting the Devils score 3 goals in the 2nd period.

I'm never been a leafs fan, but I'd love to see the team back in the playoffs.
Wilson was just fired!!! Will the team turn things around and make the playoffs?? (Hope that the Jets hold onto a spot too). |

It is about time they fired Ron Wilson. Four years coaching the Leafs and not making the playoffs is pretty pathetic. I bet if the Leafs' fans had not chanted it throughout the Air Canada Centre, Brian Burke would still be blind to the fact that this team is not working.
I hope the first thing that Carlyle does is rip the 'C' off Phaneuf's jersey and rip the 'A' off of Komisarek's jersey. Those two as leaders is a complete joke. |

It's a step in the right direction at least. There needed to be some kind of change, and after no one went at the trade deadline, was pretty clear Ronnie wasn't long for this world.
I suspect what will happen is Carlyle will turn them around enough to make the traditional late season run, therefore just missing the playoffs. A minor trade and free agent signing or two in the summer and then more of the same next year. Prove me wrong, Toronto. |
