Well given the fact the crowd didn't really jeer Reigns winning unless I misheard, I think the YES fatigue may well have set in already.

That's not to say he shouldn't be in the title picture again or in the near future. As I said I feel a Bryan and Reigns rivalry could be built into something really special akin to the great rivalries of the past.

On another note, if Lesnar is going to leave after Mania or thereabouts then WWE will be lacking a major heel (bar Rusev and the Authority) and I think Wyatt may occupy that void left by Lesnar assuming he beats Undertaker and is pushed into title contention.

I would personally be disappointed if Bray Wyatt hasn't held the WWE title at least once before the end of the year.....maybe HIAC or Night of Champions is the right place?

I was so pumped to hear Sting speak, telling Hunter it's not about the WCW glory years or WWE winning the war but about how he's sick of the Authority and that he's hear to put an end to it. Not to just stand there with a cheap baseball bat, point at the sign like a kid insist his mother buy him the GI Joe figure and walk off before he misses his flight.

Seriously this is what we were meant to tune in for?

And for a "big match" since when was the challenge accepted behind closed doors and announced by Michael Cole?

What happened to The Game of old raging down the mic telling his opponent he would be more than happy to kick his ass at the show of shows and that if they're gonna do this they're gonna go all the way?

Anti-climax.

Even the ending to Bryan v Reigns was dumb.

None of these issues would be happening if WWE just put Ryback in Reigns' spot. He's the prototypical guy, they clearly WANTED him to be a big deal and he was (and as of tonight even, still is) getting great reactions. Fuck you, WWE.

... Either that or Fandango.

Am I the only one deflated after that live special? It wasn't bad, and everyone worked well, but it's just such mechanical storytelling. I feel manipulated by the Reigns push, and I still don't care. The match was great, but so is every high profile Daniel Bryan match. It was done to make Reigns, but it was at the expense of the guy with all that talent. I feel uneasy about it, even though I knew it would happen.

Bryan could be teased by a heel and get some vengeance at WrestleMania. Sheamus? It feels somewhat similar to the Cena vs. Rusev story however. Maybe they don't do Cena vs. Rusev like we all think, and Cena and Bryan actually have a match against each other?

On the topic of that, I absolutely loved Cena vs. Rusev. Told a great story, and I can't believe they actually put Rusev over via submission. I was too afraid to call that in Tipsters. I'm pretty sure that Hulk Hogan will tell Cena to get back on the horse, but maybe they do have Cena vs. Bryan and get Rusev to face someone else?

I liked Nikki vs. Paige, although I have no clue where they are going. Paige earns another shot? Cool. I like Paige. Dean Ambrose getting DQ'd pissed me off. They should have just put the title on him. Cesaro & Kidd winning the Tag Team Titles was awesome, but it felt like that match never got into gear.

I get what they are doing with Triple H vs. Sting. I think we'll hear Sting talk, but they're just saving it. He doesn't need to talk right now. Triple H can keep talking trash and continue to lose it, until Sting finally reveals his motivations for coming back. They're not because he's bitter WCW went out of business. It's because he never wanted to work for egomaniacs like the McMahons, and Triple H is basically one of them now. He came back at Survivor Series -- not for one last grab at relevancy -- but because he loves professional wrestling and saw Triple H trying to choke the life out of it.

Something like that.

Actually starting to dig the Rhodes stuff, although I do wish Goldust's win was more decisive and that Cody Rhodes returned on RAW. But I do get what they are doing. The stuff that Stardust seems to be doing is what I would have done with Goldust feuding with Cody years ago, if it had happened. But now Goldust is the "normal one" having grown into the gimmick so much.

The tag match was great and I hope Kidd/Cesaro get more on-air time. They probably won't though because loltagdivision, which is a shame.

The DQ on Ambrose was unexpected and.... well, boring. The match itself was alright, but they ruined it. Cool that he stole the belt and we get that "story", but how many times have we been down the road with that already? Sure, everything "has been done" or whatever, creative cruise control is in effect.

Wyatt's promo was fantastic and did what it needed to do. Hopefully we get a Taker appearance soon to give the feud the rest of the substance needed to get over for a "mania level" showdown.

I am definitely in the same boat here. I feel like the only thing to keep Bryan relevant now would be a heel turn, only who does he go heel against? He would have beef with The Authority, but they are a heel entity. He could go against Cena, but will DEFINITELY get cheered over Cena. I guess he could stay babyface and go against a heel Sheamus (which is the only way Sheamus SHOULD be) but that just has a "who cares" vibe when I think about it.

Reigns looked more aggressive than ever, which was the intended result, but still forced. At this point, post Mania RAW seems like it will be the more exciting viewing event.

Sting will talk but they're saving it. We've and the First Time In A WWE Ring, First Time On Raw, First Face-to-Face, we'll get "Sting Speaks Out At Last", and finally his First Ever Mania Match.

As for the show, really felt like it was cruise control. We've got three matches set for Mania, the start of Rollins/Orton, but there are still so many pieces to fit together. Where do Bryan, Sheamus, Cena, Rusev, Ziggler, etc fit on the card? Similar to the Rumble they could have done some amazing things but it all felt a bit "By the numbers".

Well they have 5 weeks and 2 more appearances (re: his 6 appearance contract) to really build this. If it was more of what happened on Raw but getting under Triple H's skin, that would awesome. Like a throwback to the old Monday Nitro days with Sting terrorizing the NWO and Hogan etc. He doesn't need to descend from the rafters or anything and heck wouldn't even need to appear on screen. But WWE don't seem to have the logic otherwise they wouldn't have screwed up Bryan's current run.

Yeah I can't and don't think Cena should go at Rusev again as it would be tedious and also would the fans really want to see Cena lose twice and especially at Mania?

Have Rusev (or Sheamus) come out to taunt Bryan and this will fire him up. Rusev and Bryan could be a great match as would Bryan v Sheamus if it had a gimmick e.g. cage/street-fight.

Do you think an Iron-Man match is possible these days?

Also what if the storylines were to all "merge" somehow for Mania?

What I mean is (excluding Wyatt v Taker) with Sting and Triple H coming to a head and assuming control of the WWE is on the line, what if it were a case of "The Authority and the heels" vs "Sting and the faces"?

Be great to see one more confrontation on Raw with Triple H bragging about how the Authority have stood strong when others have tried to end them i.e. Bryan, Cena, Ziggler, Orton mutiny etc and Sting will be no different.

One of my favourite moments of the past was seeing the faces on Nitro celebrate a title win over the NWO re: Sting at Starrcade,Luger on Nitro.

Will it be the greatest night in the history of our sport?

If they get Tony Schiavone to commentate then yeah lol.

Seriously though given the current booking and writing, it will probably fall flat.

Just out of curiosity, would you have preferred it if the confrontation between Sting and Triple H had happened either later in the show or to close out the show?

I certainly didn't expect it so early and given I went out to the convenience store I was lucky to get back in time, it was the main reason I tuned into Fast Lane.

I get the impression these days with WWE and you see it on Raw, they seem to roll out the big parts earlier in the show, maybe because they worry people will tune out etc if they keep them waiting. But surely isn't that the key? Keep them waiting and wanting more?

I know and hate that he got beat and is gonna get a rematch. I feel like the fans could really get behind a DB/Rusev fued and he might just be the one to beat him.

I'm actually thinking that one of the best moves for the WWE in regards to Daniel Bryan might be to put him against John Cena. I can see Sheamus actually being an effective antagonist for Bryan though.
