(The Original) Get Smart

So the first season is out on DVD (The whole series came out in a collector's set, but this is the first time the seasons have been released individually), and I've been watching it. First time I've seen some of these episodes in years.

Discuss the greatness of Max Smart in here.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

I remember catcing the re-runs on nick at night when I was a child and fell in love with it. Then when I got older and the nickland or what ever its called channel was created they had the show on there.

I havnt watched it in a long time but the second I saw the first season was on sale I went to the store and picked it up on my lunch break. Ive been watching it ever since.

The show is pure awesome and the comedy still makes me laugh. I love the one writing in it and Don Adams is pure awesomeness. I just rented "The Nude Bomb" which is the first "real" Get Smart movie. I have yet to watch it but cant wait for the first chance I get.
