Emmy and now Golden Globe winner for best drama. <3
Looks like a Jack centric episode tomorrow. We finally find out what the deal is with his wife. |

I will bet good money that the girl Jack was operating on in Season 1 when his Dad came in and took over while drunk is his wife. When Jack found out about the pregnancy during that meeting, he quickly changed his mind and told the truth. Thats why she ran away. She wasn't seeing someone, she was pregnant.

Doubtful, it would be really unrealistic if they made no mention of it between the two. That would be an awesome twist though, it just seems a tad far fetched.
ANYWAY Sick episode tonight. The last line was great. |

Damn Tivo cut off right when Jack asked Ana "so, you killed one of them?" or something like that. I read that he eventually asks her how long it would take to build an army. Does anybody know a site with next week's preview? The one I used to go to is no longer there.

Sick episode. I just wish Jack would have asked some questions during the confrontation with the Others. Maybe explain that it's not HIS fault they're on "their" island.

Anyone else catch that little pause from Zeke when Jack mentioned Ethan? He seemed to react kinda strangely, like maybe he didn't know what Jack was talking about.
More than one group of Others, maybe? |

Yeah, I caught that reaction too. I don't know if that's what it meant though.

Yeah his reaction seemed to be either: He was unaware of who Ethan is, or he has more than one "spy" in the group and realizes Jack may be on to them.
The thing is, Ethan seemed almost superhuman during his fight with Jack and them, these Others seem to be simply human. I dunnoooo. Zeke was also holding a German Luger, I wonder if the time period of WWII could possibly tie into this somehow? |

Eh, pretty much a filler episode. Nothing much happened. Never been a big Charlie fan anyway.
Next new episode isn't until Feb. 8th |

WTF was up with that long close up fade out thing they did with Locke about half way through? It was like focusing on the dog with shifty eyes or something, ridiculous.
This episode proved that Ecko really has become the new Locke. People go up to him for advice and he tells them a story and is relevant in one way or another. He answers questions at face value instead of what you "really" asked him. He does weird stuff and still seems to care about the island. The list could go on.. |

i agree, I was very disappointed in that episode.
Im not sure about Locke, he seems to be changing I think...like he is protecting the island somehow. next episode looks good though |

Pretty uneventful. It looks like they are gonna do some love storylines soon, hopefully they don't suck.
What do you guys think is the deal with Libby and Hurley? My first instinct is that she was a gold digger or something and followed him to Australia. Dunno |

Although this episode was pretty boring in terms of not much actually happening, I think they're building to something bigger later on. It's the "Lost" way. The beauty of long-form storytelling. |

yea seriously. Quinn is phenomenal on that show. I always look foward to his parts before the show begins. He the softest spoken character on the show, but his words are the most powerful. He has these great lines and nails them everytime.

Best part of the last episode was when Locke just knocked the shit out of Charlie. Good stuff.

This episode was probably one of the worst they've shown. No progression at all and Charlie is becoming rather annoying. Locke is acting completely out of character. Unless he begins to turn evil or lose his mind or something, he's being hypocritical.

Also, from what I read, it seems that the next several flashbacks will be (not in this order) Locke, Sawyer and Claire. No mention of Libby's assumed flashback yet. Also, next week is a repeat. We just dealt with 5 weeks straight of this shit, only 3 weeks ago. Getting old. |

HOLY FUCKING SHIT!
I mean...seriously... I don't know how I didn't see that coming, but I totally didn't see it coming. Sawyer = The Man. That might have been the best episode this season. And next week's preview? Ho-lee-shit. |

Awesome episode. Things were moving pretty slowly and were kind of predictable lately, but this episode was great. Wasn't expecting any of that.
Next week looks ridiculous too. Capturing one of the Others, Sayid getting back into the mix, and something happening with the timer. Can't wait. |

Yeah pretty good episode, thought it was a bit over the top when Sawyer first started his speach but by the end of the show I thought it was great and was a great and realistic way to go with it.
I marked out for the tie in to Kate's story and Hurley's comment about how they could be in any time. As always the previews for next week look great but they have to actually have that clock go down, they've already teased it once and its gonna get annoying if they do it again |

Throughout this season I've been sick of Kate and Sawyer because they were the only two characters that haven't really changed since the first season. I guess now I just get to be sick of Kate.
Very interesting episode tonight, it made things seem very real. Everybody at each other's throats, that's the way it should be. |

ooooo...i though this episode was the second best of the season (behind Eko's episode)
I like the turns that both Sawyer and Charlie have taken...There are so many ways this is all going....Charlie vs Locke, Locke vs Jack, Jack and Sawyer, ecko and locke.... also next episode looks great...sweeps! woo i wonder if that comment hurley made about 'a differnet time' will prove to mean anything in later episodes |

...the radio picked up a Glenn Miller performance! (For those of you that don't know, in December of 1944 Glenn Miller boarded a flight to Paris and vanished off the face of the earth. heh.) |
