Main event delivered, but the finish was trash and I think the Title going back and forth like a Kardashian on a black guy is dumb.

Interesting that Googling "Hell in a Cell 2016" brings up the first result from CBS Sports and not just the WP or WWE page for the show. I mean, it's not like the Cubs are playing in the World Series for the first time since 1945 or any--oh, wait, I'm being told they ARE...

I see your point, but since professional wrestling is maybe 10% athletic and by no means a real sport (cue "Crying Wrestling Fan" meme), it still comes as a rather big surprise.

I enjoyed this show. Enjoyed all the Hell in a Cell matches.
I liked the end of the women's match, because it just seem "brutal"..... sure wasn't a "big spot through the table", but was just viscously tossed into it a few times and finally put away with the finishing move. Seemed "Raw"....... I don't mind the "hot-shotting" of the belt either......... people forget that during your precious "Attitude Era" during a lot of the best/hottest feuds they were "hot-shotting" the world title a lot......... |

Pretty obv what they're doing with the hot shotting of the Women's title every couple of weeks. They've gotta get Charlotte's reigns up to 16 ASAP, so they can make it central to her character and sell the Tshirt. At their rate, it won't take long into next year to get it done.

While it didn't save the ending from feeling a bit anti climactic, that was probably the most vicious natural selection I've ever seen charlotte perform.
Honestly think the ending would have been fine if they had just broken through that table. LIke the finish itself wasn't weird, it was more that there was an unbroken table sitting right there. |

Agree with Lock Jaw on the "brutallity" aspect of the ending. I think the only thing I would have liked to have seen would have been Charlotte to hit natural selection 2 or 3 times on Sasha just to make sure she was put away for good and really hammer home the point.

Scott Keith gave TJP/Kendrick a 1 star rating and declared the Cruiserweight division and everyone in it dead beyond repair.

Pretty much. Raw is shit. When it's on it's background noise to me.
With SmackDown I actually watch the full 2 hours and it never feels long. |

I really think they could trade the entire Raw and SmackDown rosters with each other today and it'd be the same thing. Raw would be boring and SmackDown would be good.
Ryan Ward actually knows how to put together a cohesive show. |

They just don't know what they're doing on Raw. The women main-eventing was decided on the day and they weren't even sure who was going over until just before the went out according to DA SHEETZ.

I had a feeling Charlotte was going over when I saw it actually was the main event. Any "firsts" are going to probably go to her.

The beginning to the main event was morth cringe worthy than the end. Nice to see a finisher end things and not get kicked out of. But a powerbomb through the table to start the match and then act like it was the worst thing that ever happened was weak. If she fell through the table when she was halfway up the cage, ok fine. But she was like 5'10" up so to do te stretcher spot just seemed to be reaching for sympathy and I don't think it delivered and the crowd didn't seem into it either.

Never thought I would see a match like Charlotte vs Sasha. Well done by both women with minor things yes, but the match as a whole I think was well done.

Big mistake was making that and not the RAW tag title match with how it ended be the cool down or piss break match after Rollins-Owens.

Too many Hiac matches took away from the work in the ring and made it feel repetitive.
The cell needs to be used more as a means to end feuds with an exclamation point. Good matches and I hope they continue to let the ladies go as hard as they want in the future |

WWE posted this video. Perhaps most interesting is how they call her "Charlotte Flair."
Since WWE have noticed this PPV win streak, much like The Undertaker's at WrestleMania, you can bet they'll let conventional booking be damned when it comes to protecting it. |
