Makes sense.
Trying my best not to read any reviews or anything. I already know about the end credits scene. |

Dunno about the rest of the world, but here in Deutschland it came out on Wednesday, I think. Maybe yesterday.
I'm gonna see it Monday. I usually like to wait out the first few days (especially the weekends) when the cinema is packed. Hopefully the Monday 2pm showing won't have too many people. |

Sure, lets put it here
http://www.nme.com/filmandtv/news/ma...-as-hul/267220 Mark Ruffalo has signed a contract to appear as 'Hulk' in six films, including the recently released Avengers Assemble. The actor, who makes his first appearance as the character in the blockbuster, has signed on for five further films, which are likely to include a number of Avengers sequels and a stand alone Hulk movie. Speaking to Collider, Ruffalo also revealed that he very much hoped to star in a solo Hulk film and how much he enjoyed making Avengers Assemble. He said of this: "I was so impressed and blow away by how much [Joss Whedon] packs into this movie and how exciting it is and what a great ride it is, and how it just works on every level." As well as Ruffalo, Avengers Assemble stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L Jackson. You can watch the trailer at the bottom of the page. The film has so grossed over $180 million worldwide and topped the UK box office with takings of over £15.8 million last weekend. |

Caught an early screening of it at midday. I was the only person in the cinema, which was pretty awesome and I never imagined would happen. Film was incredible! Loved it! Kinda wish the end battle was longer, the Avengers didn't really seem to be getting their asses kicked, in order to make the big comeback, but overall was a fantastic movie, and worth five movies of hype.
My only complaint was the fact I had to watch it in German! There were some moments I didn't understand, but the biggest gripe I had with it is the same thing I hated about Johnny English 2, and that's overdubs. Rowan Atkinson without Rowan Atkinson's voice, isn't Rowan Atkinson. The same applied to the Avengers. Stark's quips didn't seem as effective without Robert Downey Jrs. voice, and as you can imagine, Thor doesn't sound like an Asgardian God of Thunder with a German accent. But this is a personal thing for me, and not really a problem with the movie, will definitely watch it in English when it comes out on DVD. Was prepared to 'die a happy man' after seeing this movie, but now with the hint of Thanos being in a sequel, gonna have to prolong my life by a few more years. |

Loved all the dialogue as well. And especially lol'd when Hulk punched Thor after they took down that huge dragon thing.
One quirky observation: nobody was hurt! Didn't see any innocent people die!!! Thor fell in that prison thing, on a beach, in broad daylight on a sunny day, and conviently nobody was there!!! Hulk happened to fall into an abandoned building! For all the cars being blown up and buildings collapsing and dragons smashing into sides of skyscrapers, I didn't see a single civilian get crushed/blown up/shot etc. Pretty sure I saw one car get blown up with someone RIGHT NEXT TO IT and they completely no-sold the explosion. That's probably what I would do, too. |

Someone just posted a review saying there's a FUCKING 2ND ENDING AFTER THE END CREDITS?!? WHY AM I NOT INFORMED about these things? Since it came out last month.. I already had 2 viewings and I still hadn't seen it..
And the reviewer says the 2nd ending didn't add anything to the story, it only provided a little chuckle and lol moment.. I don't know what scene it is.. SO, please spoiler tags for that one. |

Can safely say that Ruffalo fits better in this movie, particularly whedon's dialogue, than Norton would have.
As for the hulk, he's better here than he was in any of his solo movies. Last edited by Fignuts; 05-03-2012 at 05:31 PM. |
