The script for the Batman film hasn't been finished yet I don't think, I'd be very suprised if it came out at all in 2011, let alone the summer.

Batman probably won't be out until earliest 2012.
Dunno, I'm kinda looking forward to Iron Man and the new Robin Hood film, out this summer. |

I didn't like POTC or Transformers, Batman I'm already pumped for.
Hangover 2? Are you serious? Harry Potter? Heard they were making 2 more of these. Armageddon is officially here.... Nobody has mentioned the epic SAW yet. In 3D!!!!!! (Im not seeing it) |

This brings up an interesting debate. Which is the biggest blockbuster summer ever? I'd have to go with 2007 right now.
Spiderman 3 Shrek 3 Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End Knocked Up Ocean's 13 Fantastic 4: Silver Surfer Live Free or Die Hard Ratatouille Transformers Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Simpsons Movie Bourne Ultimatum Rush Hour 3 Superbad |

Harry Potter doesn't belong there. It belongs in the toilet. They should rename the movie "Harry Potter and the Order Of the shitty films in the series" lol, I chuckled. It made me smile sort of as i type and finish off this sentence today.

Wow, looks like a decent lineup
Agreed that 2007 was the shit. They need to remake HP 3 and up as they all sucked ass after the second. |

It's not officially a blockbuster Summer without a Will Smith movie.

I may have to agree with Summer 2007 being possibly the biggest to date... ...Especially with the "hype" surrounding Transformers, Spiderman 3, and Pirates 3 leading the way...not saying they were great or even good movies, but at the box office, they held their own...

Also, for my money those 3 are much more satisfying summer blockbusters. But like has been said, every summer tops the last as far as money is concerned. It's inflation. As for quality, and actual tickets sold, that's another story. |

Touche' and yes, The Dark Knight and Iron Man by far outshined the big 3 that I referenced. Not much of a fan of Indiana Jones 4 though, but i did pay to go see it... |

I was a huge mark for Freddy vs Jason in that summer as well
I think that was the first summer I didn't have to sneak into R rated movies anymore |
