Alright so pick some nominees for the categories and the 5 most mentioned will be the official nominees. I did this last year and about half the people voted after I had already closed the voting. I'll give more time this year.

I agree, this was a pisspoor year for movies. Also, how the hell did Big Fish win last year?

A lot of those from last year seem like ones that were actually nominated for Academy Awards. Is that what you went by or just coincidence?

It's an adaption of a book written by Che Guevara about a journey he went on as a young fellow with a friend of his, while he was a medical student and his friend was a biochemist. It's basically a road movie, but also it was the journey on which Guevara began to seed his revolutionary ideas.

It's not filled with politics, not remotely. You see the change in Guevara, of course, but his politics come later in his life and in the film he's just a man disillusioned by the injustice he encounters.
