Big Show. Trish shouldn't have made it past The Miz but she's hot so she'll probably beat Big Show as well.

This has basically been hotter wrestler so far. I mean Trish was one of the best women of her time but as far as wrestling goes she's was far from great. She barely got to wrestle in her time and maybe got 10 minutes for a title match everyonce in a while. I just don't see how people can call her a better wrestler than any of the men she's went up against. Charlotte yeah, she's still green and has a ways to go but Miz, Booker T, and Big Show are all better wrestlers than her hands down.

So if Trish can become a top act in a company with 7-10 min matches then she isnt just better than the Big Show she's WAY BETTER than The Big Show. Secondly I havent even sort of voted off her looks and many other poeple have been able to judge her on her merits as worker. Crazy thought but some people might actually value her work. |

Trish. The Big Slow will not get my vote even though Trish deserved to be out already.

I wont argue the Big Show is a bad worker, he isnt. He's had some stuff that was great. He's had some stuff that was horrid. It's a grab bag with him though and typically is based off of how much he cares at any given time. |

12 years? Trish started in 2000 and her peak years were 2002-2004 and was done by 2006. Wrestled one or two matches everyonece in a while after that.

Ok the way I read it first it sounded like you meant she had a career that spanned 12 years.

Maaan, Trish is lucky. Going from Booker T to Big Show because of the tie. This is a easy one. Destor already went over it but Big Show is either amazing or amazingly boring. For example, his tag teams with Y2J and Miz were amazing but his feud with Reigns was terrible.
Trish is a legend and Big Show is just a wonderful talent. Legend status wins. |

Trish. Felt she did better with what she was given (skills and feuds) than Big Show even though Big Show's career is a lot longer.
Big Show is probably one of the few cases where having a long career hurts more than it helps especially as an Andre-like or Big Man style wrestler. Looked great in WCW and somewhat early on in WWE but then got overused and had some other issues negatively impacting his career after a while. |

Alright, I'm going Big Show here. Can't blame him for existing in an era of horrible WWE start-stop pushes and such. He should have been his generation's Andre. Could be a huge special attraction by now. He is the goods.

Could Big Show have been of value? Possibly. That being said, Andre the Giant was such a smart worker and knew how to protect his gimmick and when to give some to the local guys. In the ring he was captivating (up until his body started breaking down) and is easily one of the biggest attractions of all-time -- not just because he is big.
I honestly don't think Show was ever at that level. I don't hate the guy or anything, I believe he has served a functional purpose at times, but he just doesn't seem to have the same...mentality as Andre. Like Roman Reigns just doesn't have it together to be a top babyface at this point in his career, Big Show has never had it together to be that special attraction. Trish Stratus is arguably more iconic after a 6-year career than Big Show is after 20. It's not entirely his fault, but when you're a top star you have to act like a top star. Trish knew when to bow out and let her legend has grown because of it. It's amazing how many people can't get their heads around there being a wider range of criteria to judge a wrestler than pure technical ability, by the way. Which Show would score low in anyway. |

Big Show never becoming the special attraction was definitely a booking issue. You can blame the difference between the time periods, too but it had nothing to do with Show. He had all the tools to be as big as they would let him become. Instead he wet from being credible to being a giant jobber and back so many times they killed off any chance of him being special.

I remember marking out for Big Show exactly once. I cannot remember the match, but it was a multi-man tag in the main event of RAW. I have a feeling that Show had just turned face recently (I know this doesn't help time-stamp it). But he got the hot tag in the match and charged through everybody and it looked cool as fuck.

If I had to use Big Show in WWE today, teaming him with a great babyface-in-peril would be a good way to go. I'm not a big fan of sticking veterans together because you have nothing else for them, but how about Big Show & Goldust as a team? Goldie still takes a fucking beating like a champ and drums up sympathy. Show can tag in and just go wild. They've also got that "cinematic" connection in that Show was originally somewhat thematically presented as a sort of "movie monster" come to life. And they've both had finishers called "The Final Cut."
R-Truth could be a heel, team with Miz again, and Miz has that "Hollywood" persona as well. Could make an interesting mid-card tag feud on RAW... Ah, who am I kidding? It would suck. |

Unfortunately The Big Show has been relegated to joke status years and years ago thus eliminating him from being a "good" wrestler. Like even now nobody cares about him. Had they kept the indestructible giant gimmick with him he could be Andre status. Didn't the guy lose to 5'1" Mayweather and Rey Mystero and others who have no business coming near a conversation of beating him?
Trish evolved as time went on and vastely improved in the ring and on the mic. I think she could still go and out wrestle most women on the current roster. |

It's somewhat telling that the brand split is sputtering and he's nowhere to be found.
