They shouldn't be. As much as they might've been prepping it as a surprise, Harold has been in the credits all season.

People should know that spoilers will come after Thursday showing. I usually watch it on Friday online and thus don't check this thread till after I watch it because I am smart enough to realize people will be talking about the newest episodes. So if they read that I hope they read this, cause those people are fucking idiots on two points. One it was fairly obvious it would be Michael, well not obvious but well rumored for a while. And two an idiot for reasons I already listed about how they shouldn't be in this thread until they are caught up.

Spoilers, but not typed in black because I'm lazy and it's 6 pages in...
Do you guys think that Jin will be considered one of the Oceanic Six since he is off the island but dead? Or perhaps he dies on the island and Sun builds him a memorial back home. Also, somebody on the ship said that Ben was behind the faked Oceanic found underwater with all the bodies. Do we know that that was Ben's doing? |

So we got Hurley, Kate, Jack, Sayid, Sun. Am I missing someone, or are we gonna count Jin as the last guy to make up the 6? Wished for some mad overrun for Mike's ass kicking. |

Jin or Aaron potentially make up the six, but then again it is probably someone else. I am inclined to think that the people who are after Ben after the ones who faked the plane crash. If Ben had done it, why let everybody live to begin with? You gotta fill 315 seats with corpses, might as well start with the neighbors.

I'm going to bet that's true because Ben has been desperate to keep outsiders off the island. It makes sense that we would fabricate a story that all the passengers are dead and create fake plane wreckage and bodies to cover everything up, to keep people from searching for them.

Aaron does not count as one of the six because he was never on the plane. at least that's my thinking.
fucking sweet episode last night. never saw that coming with Jin as a flashback. seriously, how clever was that? I love this writing. swerves left and right. and yea, Juliet is hot. But Claire easily takes the cake. I love her voice. |

They did say that episode that we would find out the "last" of the 6. So I am guessing it was Jin, and he died when they got back. I also was thinking the baby before, because regardless of not being on the plane, he was there when they got back from the island obviously. So why would he not be treated as a celebrity? After all he would have technically survived being -on- the island while they were wrecked there.
But I dunno. It is probably just Jin and something happened to him when they got back. On a more twisted note. What if the thing that happened with Jin -wasn't- a flashback? What if something happened when they came back.. similar to the fucked up stuff happening in Desmond's head, but different. I highly doubt it, but it is a thought. |

Or Ben could have manufactured that he is indeed part of the 6, and not just some Other guy.

His gravestone says he died Sept 24, 2004, which was the date of the crash. My guess is that he dies sometime before they get off the island and Sun is forced to make the date 9/24 to go with the apparent story that all of the Oceanic Six give people (the story that Jack tells in the courtroom).
Also, more than six people might get off the island (like Ben) and just not make their escape public. As far as I see it, the Oceanic Six are: Jack Kate Hurley Aaron Sun Sayid Again though, those aren't necessarily the only 6 that get off the island, they're simply the only ones that get 'rescued' or assumed by the media/public to be the only survivors. |

Jin could still be alive. Since the date on his grave was the day Oceanic crashed, he could still be on the island, or faked his death for some reason, and Sun was just keeping up appearances by visiting his grave.
Alright, maybe it's a stretch, but I love Jin |

OBVIOUSLY JIN IS NOT DEAD
How can people not realise? It's not going to be that obvious. Sun was crying about how she "misses him so much" but there was never any mention of his death etc. etc. He is still on the island but Sun obviously had to make a life changing decision - leave the island, save her baby, but never he Jin again or stay on the island with Jin but have her and her baby die. The decision is easy when you think about it. The grave was merely symbolism, not his actual grave. |

I love how you say its so obvious and easy when it is everything but that. He could really be dead. Remember, they say 8 survive the Crash, but only 6 make it home. There is something to that story to explain 2 deaths. Jin could die at any point now, and what we know would not change. Just because you think something does not make it true. Has anything ever been obvious in Lost? Stop running your dick sucker. |

The only two things that I can come up for Jin are either:
1. He's gonna be dead. We've seen in the past what the writers do to those who had run-ins with the law. 2. This might be a bit of a wild idea. But, what if Jin's flasbacks are really flashforwards? Sure he worked for Sun dad pre-crash. But Sun's father is tied up with the mob over there or something? For all we know, he could have went back to work for him after getting off the Island and went underground. |

Lets face it guys, none of us have a goddamn clue whats going on, I bet most of you figured it was all a flash forward right up until he went to the hospital, then the Chinese New Year anomoly woulda clicked in too.
I know I did anyway, stop trying to pretend you know whats happening, especially you Avenger, pleb:foc: |

Lost very rarely gives any info, but when it does, it is fact and rarely is there more to it.
If they show us Jin dies some point in the future, its going to happen. |

Meh, they put in swerves all the time, and every episode has to have a cliff hanger, I don't see how a gravestone is conclusive of anything at this point.

Well the way I am looking at it....more than 6 people are able to get off the island...
Lets not forget....they are called the Oceanic 6 (survivors of the plane crash)....Juliet...Ben...other people were not on that plane that could make it off the island and would not be known as part of the 6. |

Here’s my take.
If the date on that grave is the date of the plane crash, it would indicate that Jin never got off the island and he along with many others are still on the island. I would like to think that if Jin was still alive and ‘underground’ they would of shown his ‘New’ wife to seal it, but for once I don’t think they were trying to over complicate things, they never showed Jin and Sun together at the same time in a flashback/forward, so the theory that Jin was in the past and Sun was in the future stands The whole point of the episode was Jin not being the man that Sun felt to need to go to another man, so you would think he wouldn’t go back working for her Dad again, as he should be of a stronger character. Hurely’s Hair looked a lot longer, which would lead me to think he’s out of the nut house, this along with other stuff is leading towards the 6 needing to go back to the island I didn’t see the first 30 mins of Sayid’s episode, did they actually say he’s one of the 6? I don’t know, because I would assume if he’s in league with Ben, chances are he was snuck out to carry out his killing work, please correct me if I’m wrong. One of the ‘6’ could be considered that guy in the casket from the end of the last season. And finally, I no longer consider any death to be legit as they have brought in time travel as an option, in theory you can now stop the deaths happening, which can be a total kop out |

so apparently clips from this thursday's ep 7 are leaked.
it's too bad we have to wait awhile after episode 8 for more episodes of lost. spoilers in the following vids: black: the spoiler of micheal being the spy became more evident last week, so it's not a huge spoiler or anything. Last edited by Bazooka; 03-17-2008 at 01:48 PM. |

We have to wait because the original writers have been back and writing new episodes. They were a part of the writer strike. It will no longer be the 'new writers' that did the first 8 and will be the originals. Which I feel is a good thing. Perhaps they'll steer less towards the sci-fi and more towards how awesome the first seasons were... not that this season isn't good, but I definitely liked the earlier stuff the best.

I dont know where you read or heard this, but I'm pretty sure the writers haven't changed. They simply haven't had anything in production in between the first 8 episodes and the writer's strike. After Thursday's episode, we won't have the new ones until late April.
