Cyndi Lauper "Guest Starring" on RAW this week.
Hope it leads to her going into the Hall of Fame. Like I've said, her, Tyson and Mr. T are first three celebrities that should have gone in based on merit. |

Sorry, we're full. Should check out that other bandwagon for loving Brooke Hogan. It's pretty empty and could use some jumpers.

Vince McMahon really bothered me on RAW this week. Is anyone else in that boat?

Saddest/scariest thing is that Vince probably takes the most care into crafting his own segments, so he thought they were gold and got the talent over...

I just read the Impact report, and it sounds pretty decent. Austin Aries has the choice to give up the X-Division Title and challenge Bobby Roode at Destination X. Part of me is kind of hoping they go all the way with Aries and have him win their World Title.
Roode could then be pissy that he's not in the Bound For Glory Series, and he pays someone to keep attacking James Storm's opponents, costing Storm points for losing by DQ. Roode is revealed as being behind it, and we do get Roode vs. Storm at Bound For Glory, but it's just not for the title. Aries defends the World Title against the winner of the Bound For Glory series, which, in my dream world, would come down to either Samoa Joe, Magnus, Kurt Angle or Christopher Daniels. |

That's what is really scary about the whole thing to me. I enjoy Vince McMahon the character at times (I seriously used to be a mark for it), but his whole appearance on RAW seemed hostile and awkward. "Look at how cool Vince McMahon is marching to the beat of his own drum and hating on his own show!"

Have been hearing TNA is pretty good lately. Might actually give them a chance.
With my/their luck I'll tune in on the week they decide to finally put Brooke and Hulk vs. Eric and Garrett into motion. |

I am going to their house show tomorrow and paid for top seats with the meet and greet option. Guaranteed to meet Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode and Jeff Hardy (lol). Might try to sneak a few pictures with them.
Anything that TPWW wants me to ask them? I am fairly certain Hardy will be high as fuck though. |

Hahaha. AJ's getting as much as Big Show, Sandow, and Kane combined.

I don't remember the last time a heel was booked as well as Mark Henry a little bit before and then during his title reign.

It is like a "refined" run similar to when he started the whole "Silverback" thing. I was a fan of that too, and it looked like it was headed to good things for Henry. Then he got hurt again.
As usual, he will return as a face for awhile. Such is the pattern in Mark Henry's career. Come in as a face > turn heel > get injured Lather. Rinse. Repeat. |

I can't remember if I enjoyed his ECW title reign or not. I do remember that it seemed like they were just throwing the title on him because it was a third rate title for what amounted to a glorified developmental brand. He was the "big fish in a small pond".
I loved the fact that they had him go Orton clean twice to win and retain the World title. I'm a huge Orton fan but that's how you build a monster heel to the top. Take one of your top faces and just have him try his best and fail to topple him. I wish they could have built it to a big climax with Orton finally overcoming Henry. Could have been a classic moment. |

Just started watching Smackdown. Why was I expecting AJ's explanation to be:
"There's a very simple explanation... I did it... for the Rock" ? |

The matches were good. I just wish they wouldn't have made it a habit of breaking his "monster" streak by jobbing him to Sheamus in like a minute on Raw and having him look normal again leading up to it. Might have actually given that vibe that he's still the same guy who beat Orton cleanly and could easily take the title away from Punk.
