Well, the 49ers are 4-1.
And they just signed a guy from GB at WR that I've never heard of! How's that for news?? |

Yeah, I thought so too. Jags getting humbled by Bengals twice in a week.
Jerry Jones isn't that stupid. Why does L.A. even want a team? So all the whiny ass fans can watch them for a year or two and then be bored with them? Sports teams in L.A., aside from the Lakers, Dodgers, and Clippers seem to never last. |

That sounds like a lot, but all he had to do was flash a smile and all those things were fixed.

Ok, so Turk is now gone, and our new punter is Nick Harris. Let's see how this goes.

They probably got tired of Turk being more worried about how his arms look in his super small jersey and pads.

Now that "Audible Chocolate" Gus Johnson left, CBS isn't as great as it was, but they still have way better announcers than Fox.

God, we are decimated with injuries, why would we not go after him. Especially with what McDaniels did with him in Denver.

While he could be a solid #1 WR here in Jax, they won't go after him.

We need a replacement for Joshua Morgan but I don't think Harbaugh is going to play the big name game a whole lot.

Brandon Lloyd will struggle without a big time QB like Kyle Orton throwing to him. Just look at his numbers.

Poor Joshua Morgan got injured at the end of a game where his team was up by 45 points. It probably wasn't even Harbaugh's fault either, he had most of his starters out. Just shitty.

You gotta wonder how this will effect Alex Smith's QB Rating of 104.1 which is currently 1st on the 49ers, 1st in the NFC West, 2nd in the NFC, and 3rd in the NFL.

Alex Smith can lead his team merely on his hopes and aspirations, let alone his 104.1 rating.

If Alex Smith continues to be a consistently good QB like he's been this season, alot of people are going to be eating a healthy helping of crow. Including me.

Im surprised there is much Smith hate.
Like he had a rought few years, started late. Then Missed a WHOLE year, but since then has been pretty decent. Hes missed a 5 games each of the last two years, so durability is an issue, but the talent and numbers weren't horrible. |

People mainly consider him a failure due to expectations being so high in the first place. I think most people expect much better from a #1 pick . That being said, he isn't horrible, and actually is EXTREMELY good at a few niche things and Harbaugh is definitely playing to his strengths. He's hard to blitz, he's wonderful in the red zone, and he can run the football like a champ when he needs to. His passing has gotten much better as well over the past couple years. Crossing my fingers here, but he might just turn out to be quite the success for the 9ers in the end. Well, maybe.

It comes with the territory of being a top 5 pick. If you don't become a superstar, you're considered a bust. Especially when you get that massive rookie contract. It happened to VY and Russell too. It was happening to Stafford a little bit when he kept getting injured, but he's shut those people up pretty well.

Mark Sanchez has artfully dodged the bust label which is pretty incredible considering he's a top 5 pick in New York. But his teams win so he gets a pass.
