Orton and Sheamus

For weeks now, we have expected the return ot both these guys, but bar a few videos for Sheamus, we have gotten neither.

What do we think these guys are going to do for Mania and where do you see them in the current landscape?

Orton vs Rollins seems like the logical WrestleMania match. (Possibly save some room on the card by having Orton and Sting vs Rollins and HHH?)

As far as Sheamus, if they don't put Bryan in the title match, I can see them turning him heel and facing Bryan since they seem to really wanna do that match at WrestleMania.

I think Bryan will probably end up in the title match again somehow though, so Sheamus may even be relegated to the Andre the Giant Memorial if they don't forget about it.

I have zero interest in Sheamus, and my interest in Orton is running out.

Neither Orton nor Sheamus really interest me that much as both wrestlers seemed to have reached their peaks. Sheamus is pretty much a main-event jobber and/or upper mid card guy that will continuously getting stuck in meaningless feuds..........unless he's being used to put over up and coming talent.

Orton is in a slightly higher boat, but it's more or less the same thing. Orton will go back to his 2011-2013 self where he was an upper mid-card face being used to put over talent.

I wouldn't mind seeing Orton get a legit push as a main-event face, but it seems unlikely. Rollins will likely go over Orton at some point, which isn't necessarily a bad thing mind you.

I have zero interest in Sheamus unless he's being used to put over guys like Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper (i.e. emerging heels).

Orton needs to return and request to be in the WM main event because its been a year and he still hasn't got his rematch.

As for Sheamus a match against Bryan sounds about right.

If the WWE push Orton the correct way, I think he can be very successful as a main-event face. Yes, it's no longer 2004, or even 2008 for that matter, and Orton's 'window' may have passed, but I still think he has an outside chance of being a very successful main-event face. Make Orton and out of control badass that hates the Authority and Seth Rollins, and the WWE might have a shot of doing something with Orton.

Sheamus is dead wood in my opinion, and Bryan deserves a more high profile match. I'd rather see Sheamus put over someone like Luke Harper as opposed to someone like Bryan.

Orton would logically go after Seth Rollins. I can see Rollins vs. Orton taking place at WrestleMania, although I would much rather see Rollins vs. Orton vs. Reigns, after Lesnar costs Reigns the Fastlane match. I don't think that will be happening though.

Sheamus is harder to plug in, due to the innocuous nature of his current character, and while the last we saw of him he was World's Strongest Slammed through an announce table by Mark Henry; we don't have Henry back either. I think the idea people have of Sheamus costing Bryan the World Title shot actually makes sense and has a good chance of happening. I'd rather see Sheamus fight Luke Harper after the two develop a rivalry based on beating the shit out of each other though.

Sheamus either gets Bryan or goes into the Battle Royale while Orton either gets Rollins or also goes in the Battle Royale.

All depends if both guys show up either at Fast Lane or the following RAW.

I can't imagine Orton in the battle royal. Seems so far below him. Unless they REALLY can't find anything to do and try to add "star power" to make it credible. But even if he's not ready until after Fast Lane, I feel like they'd work him into a story for WrestleMania.

I can't believe we are a PPV away from Mania and Orton doesn't have a program.

He's not my favourite rassler, but he is like one of the top guys. Imagine if they just shelfed a HHH or Angle or Rock or whatever during the Attitude era? Seems nuts.

Outside of the main event, what is there even a build toward? If Wyatt is feuding with Taker, he needs to show up in some form this Sunday or on RAW.

What will Cena be doing? Will the feud with Rusev continue? Lots of other under utilized talent that seems to be "without a program". They will probably re-write Mania 20 times during the live broadcast of Mania....

Hopefully the next few weeks leading to mania will berth something interesting outside of the title picture.

I'd have liked to have seen Orton vs. Lesnar at some point. Especially if it's crazy face Orton circa 2011. I'd be happy with Lesnar vs. Orton vs. Reigns vs. Bryan at Wrestlemania. Orton could interrupt the Reigns/Bryan match and basically go off on how he never had his rematch last year etc.

I was just thinking that maybe it'd be more productive to do a 12-Man Elimination Tag or something at WrestleMania for the Rollins vs. Orton program, to try and get some extra mileage out of it, and to get some of the more featured names on the card.

Seth Rollins, Big Show, Kane, Bad News Barrett, Luke Harper & Stardust vs. Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Dolph Ziggler, Ryback, Erick Rowan & Goldust

* Big Show can give Erick Rowan an illegal KO Punch, getting him counted out against former partner, Luke Harper.

* Ryback goes on a tear and eliminates Kane and Big Show in quick succession.

* Ryback's momentum is stopped, and he takes a Discus Clothesline from Harper, a Disaster Kick from Stardust and a Curb Stomp from Rollins for his elimination -- making him look like a beast on his way out.

* Goldust and Stardust have a segment, and Stardust pins his brother, giving him a send-off from the WWE.

* Dean Ambrose goes on a bit of a tear, and he eliminates Stardust, Harper & Barrett in quick order.

* Rollins is left with Orton, Ambrose & Ziggler -- and he is forced to face three of his greatest rivals in a segment all about the end of Rollins.

I'm also thinking that having Sheamus cost Bryan his match at Fastlane might be the way to go. A heel Sheamus focused on ending the YES! Movement he inadvertently started in order to re-launch his career would make simple sense, and create a meaningful program for him -- something I just can't see happening otherwise.

Orton will win the Battle Royal and Rollins will be busy cashing in a certain briefcase.....

Eugh oh no.

Unless they want Bryan to avenge his humiliation from WM 28 against Sheamus or something.

But after all that with the putting Bryan and Reigns in the match for the shot at Lesnar, would be stupid way to end it.

I would rather see Lesnar vs. Bryan, but I would have rather have seen them set it up via the Rumble. I just can't shake the feeling they want to go with Reigns, Reigns, Reigns moving forward. I see him beating Lesnar at WrestleMania, losing the title to Rollins via cash-in, winning it back, and then having a longer run, with some cold-war tension between him and Ambrose -- 2015 Money in the Bank Winner.

I see Sheamus reminding Bryan that he beat him in 18 seconds constantly during their feud.

Or maybe if the face wins the title match i.e. Bryan or Reigns, Rollins cashes in and fails but we get a sort of mini-match in the process? Might be too much to ask physically.

I can't see the cash-in happening at WrestleMania unless the crowd shits on Reigns beating Brock so badly that they call an audible and have Rollins cash-in to pop the crowd and set up a new program for Reigns right away. My projected time for a Rollins cash-in, at this point, is Extreme Rules. It stands to reason that the WWE Champion will be a face, and that they will have a grueling test at that PPV. What better time to cash-in?

What about Sheamus costing Cena at Fast lane, jealous and not wanting him to be the one to stop Rusev, relaunching his career where he started it, by shocking the world and beating Cena. Turning back on fans to get the job done again...

Think Orton going in the main event and making it a four way is a good way to go, it also gives them any easy out for a non finish against Reigns and Bryan.

Sheamus vs. Cena could be a lot of fun, but Sheamus would probably get cheered for brutalizing Cena.

Guess I'm the only one here that wouldn't mind seeing Sheamus in a chase of the U.S. Championship for a while and then when he regains it, he actually puts it on the line once a week or so, maybe help try to bring back some kind of importance to one of the mid-card titles.

Also thought about the possibility of BnB winning in convincing, but not quite dominating fashion, and Sheamus causing Cena to lose his chance to regain the belt he held nearly 11 years ago by distracting Rusev for a 10-count, defeating Cena in a one-off match the next night on RAW, have Authority announce an IC & US title unification match at WM in a Fatal-4-Way of US Champ Rusev v. IC Champ Barrett v. Sheamus v. Ambrose, Sheamus wins and decides to keep the IC title active and, again, defends it on a weekly basis.

I to would like go see the US an IC titles unified. Not so sure about it being done in a four way but I think having Ruesv run threw Vena and retain his title. I believe a unifaction match with BNB would be better then Ambrose. Have both of them defend their titles successfully all summer and then Lana says no one can take the title off Rusev and then Im afraid I got some bad news. Wade challenges Rusev to a unification match at Summeslam. Ruse wins and we get a new IC title.
