Pretty crazy how the Eagles are right back in the NFC East at 3-4. The Giants aren't scaring anyone at 5-2.

There was nothing surprising about that game. Tim Tebow is not an interesting player and the Denver Broncos are probably the most boring team in the NFL to talk about this year.

Nice try Rams. Try being worse on special teams. Worked like a charm for the Colts.

The next drive, and the majority of drives after, consisted of pretty much 2 WR sets and Tebow almost always under center. WHY? |

Remember when Denver traded a first round pick for Alphonso whatshisface. I can't wait to see what they might offer for Andrew Luck.

For reals - Andy Dalton is legit. Dude is a Winner.
I honestly would possibly take him over Newton. Hes not flashy, hes not a freak, but the dude is just a damn good QB. |

I stand by it. No RB is playing better or is more important to his team AT THIS TIME, than Fred Jackson.

Was getting pretty frustrated yesterday. Here we are with a fairly good red zone quarterback and we're running Gore on the goal line 100 times despite it not working the entire game. I understand that the Brown's passing defense is much better than their run defense but you'd think after the Browns defense makes a huge stand at the goal line that you'd lay the fuck off the run in the red zone for awhile. At the end of the second half, they decide to give Alex a passing play in the red zone after two failed run attempts then bam, TD.
It was pretty odd though. The Browns couldn't stop the run at any other time in the game, just in the red zone. Gore pretty much made his way up the entire field twice in the first half just because he could. |

I think a lot of people are ignoring the Bengals because of the soft schedule, even though a 3-1 road record is impressive no matter who you play against.
But I also think a lot of it has to do with the fact that with all the things people could be talking about with the Bengals, there's a similar story gathering more interest. People aren't talking about their suprising start because the Niners and Lions (and I guess the Bills too) are getting more coverage. People aren't talking about Dalton because Cam Newton is getting all the coverage. People aren't talking about the defense because they're still in a division with the Ravens and Steelers. But whatever man, I'd rather people sleep on the Bengals and let them do their thing than put them on a pedestal and then shit all over them if they don't meet expectations. |

I don't know what kind of coverage you think the 49ers are getting. Although, admittedly it is a bit more than before. ESPN takes an extra 15 seconds or so saying "How about these guys?" before they move on to talking about Michael Vick for 3 and a half hours.

Also, if they're talking about the 49ers it's probably mostly because people expect them to do great this season due to a lack of competition later in the schedule. Bengals have a much more difficult schedule coming up and they'll probably lose quite a few of those games. The Bengals also had a very easy schedule up to this point and lost almost all of their somewhat difficult games, except against the Bills.
I suspect they'll be quite the topic of conversation if they beat the Steelers twice, the Texans, and the Ravens. |

Crazy to think now how close the Niners are to being undefeated. They had the Cowboys beat but they let it slip away.

Anyway, didn't see the game yesterday due to power outage. But it sounded awfully ugly on the radio. Struggling to beat the Dolphins at home isn't a very good sign when you have to go to New England who are pissed off after a defeat.
The final 9 week stretch is insanely brutal. |
