Possible New WWE Network Plans on the Way
I think it would be a great move to be the Netflix of wrestling and charge dedicated fans even more for it. I really hope these plans come to fruition. |

$9.99 plan sounds like the best option until there is clarification on the Ring of Honor option. Obviously, they got the TNA library unless there's some deal in place where WWE has access to whatever Corgan is planning to do with TNA.
Don't really need to pay for "fan perks". |

Should just have two tiers as options. The current $10 one that gives all the regular content and then a deluxe/expensive tier that includes the indy stuff and fan perk goodies.

I don't think it would. I don't think the people who take the $5 upgrade would come anywhere near making up for the money lost with the downgrades.

What do they mean NXT Live? It's ALL pre-recorded except for TakeOvers.

They should keep it as is and just offer a upgrade to $14.99 for the extra stuff. Don't give the option for a $4.99 account.

Well, keep the free option as the revenue from the commercials will be worth while.

Offline downloads, no commercials, and TNA/ROH stuff sound good/worth an extra $5.

I know it's not possible because of television commitments, but if they found a way to show Raw and SmackDown live or at least have them available to watch the next day or two instead of having to wait a month, then I would be up for that.
The other stuff such as commercials and fan perks and so on, I really don't care about them. I'm happy with the way the network is at the moment, it's just Raw and SmackDown being a month behind on the network that I'm not a fan of and would like to see changed. |

Wait, they're giving away the big four PPVs for $4.99? I dunno, I've never really wrapped my head around how hasty the decision seems to move away from PPV. I can understand them taking the product in-house, but you surely could have had the Network as something you spend $9.99 on for access to the libraries and certain original programming, but then sold your WrestleManias and Takeovers out of it.
Showing EVOLVE is something I've been half-expecting for a while. ROH and TNA being included is somewhat bizarre. It's a good opportunity to bump up pricing, but I think they should also get those "Big Four" events into that upper tier. Showing TNA and ROH allows you to have something to replace PPV events with. You still have access to the same amount of content (more, really) in terms of duration, anyway. |

Free tier is probably better than the 30 days free thing as I've heard people create new emails to get the trial for every PPV. |

Doubt its actually them following Smackdown with weekly live shows since the costs would skyrocket for them. Wouldn't be getting any extra money from USA Network like they get for Smackdown Live. |

Offline content would be awesome. I currently pay around $14 a month due currency conversion but would go up to $20 for offline stuff.

Personally I'd like somewhere between the 4.99 and 9.99 packages. Living in the UK means I rarely ever watch live so having the ability to do so is lost on me, but the 4.99 deal only leaves you with 4 PPVs. Having said that, virtually everything I watch on the network I can find elsewhere on the net free of charge, it's only the fact I split the cost that I even bother with the Network at all.

No idea if HBO is still like this but HBO use to show Game of Thrones live and then like a day later it appeared on the HBO app. I assume it would work like that. Once it is added to the library then the $4.99 people could watch it.

What's good too is that not only can you cancel at any time, but you can probably switch subscriber levels whenever too.
So $9.99 gets you what you already get...and if you decide to go on a TNA/ROH binge watch you can just upgrade and switch back when you get bored. Seems cool. |

Going to be a massive amount of people downgrading to the $4.99 when the RR/Mania months hit.

Make the IWC Great Again

Sounds like a great plan, if they can get access to these other libraries. The smarks will love to get access to those bingo hall promotions, and the bingo hall shows will get exposed to maybe 10X the number of people they are now.
To address a couple things. First, from a revenue standpoint, they are ahead of where they were pre Network from PPV/Network. So unless you dont like revenue, it should be pretty clear that the decision to move to Network was a genius move. Especially when you consider that WWE's PPV business was going south. I dont think any stars created since then would have spiked the PPV model for WWE. So they took a declining business and turned it into a growth business. Only the IWC would think thats a bad move. When I say IWC I'm really talking to two people who clearly are still among the least informed people on here. And their hero journalists who feed them their talking points. About the $5 price point. Its a smart move that will result in more revenues in the long run. You want people to test out the product at $5 for Mania time. Then you hope that the surrounding content is enough to keep the new people around either at $5, or possibly move up to the $10 price point. Maybe even $15 eventually. I dont think many people who pay $10 right now see the Network as a waste of money, in fact based on satisfaction ratings, the Network is seen as great value for their money. Would some really cheap people move from $10 to $5 for a period of time? Maybe, but I can pretty much guarantee they will net out ahead long term. There's another aspect of this that not shockingly most of you guys missed. I wont get into it, but its there in black and white if you know what to look for. Its an element that will likely drive satisfied customers to the higher tier. And if it doesnt, it will introduce a new revenue stream that will be very profitable for the WWE. |

Would be very tempted by the $15 option (or £15 as I assume it will be here).
However I would be questioning how much time I actually have for it all. I already don't manage to fit everything they produce a week in. If there was a British promotion on it though I would 100% do it. |

Hopefully it's as amazing as that Bellas feud from a couple years ago that WWE brilliantly ended off camera. Suddenly Noid and Cynick are BFFs out of nowhere and no one knows what the fuck happened. Would be genius.
