Roman and Brock took a beating in that (great) match, anybody booing afterwards should probably watch a different product

If it were any other match, i'd agree with you, but this was about who is main eventing the biggest event of the year, so I don't blame people for showing their displeasure at the winner. It's just a gut reaction. They'll still appreciate appreciate how good the match was once the initial saltiness wears off.

wwe, edge and christian need to understand that even though they are funny guys, they are not comedians. However, maybe if they stick with the show they will find their groove. I hope they do, love those 2.

My buddys at work and he's the biggest Ambrose mark and he couldn't see the PPV. I told him that Ambrose won and the crowd went apeshit, HHH came out and Ambrose beat him down ending with his foot on his chest holding up the title.
He is going to CRY when he finds out the truth. side note: he's not really my buddy, I hate this guy. |

Main event was a good match. Whether it was boo'd or cheered would obviously be because the majority of the audience seemingly does not want Reigns as the guy, rather than the quality of the match itself.
I get they want him badly to be the guy but Ambrose is just so over, and shooting him into the main event when he's been as consistently popular as he has, against H in what is seemingly a far more interesting storyline, where Ambrose easily fits in as the underdog they want Reigns to be, would've been a fresh audible as opposed to the "seen it coming a mile away" Reigns v H program that nobody wants to see. |

you're right to an extent but really good matches transcend faces and heels, crowds get into it and react to what's happening in the ring. People who paid to see it have every right to voice their opinion how they see fit but I'm never going to understand somebody hell bent on not enjoying something no matter how good it was because the outcome wasn't what they wanted. But in the age of internet experts there is always going to be that section of fans and they'll keep paying and WWE will happily keep taking their money. I just wish they'd try and enjoy it a bit more when they're presented with that caliber of match.

what I'm saying is aimed at a very small minority, they won over most of the booing parts of the crowd, Roman was booed much heavier at the start than when he actually won. They can react to the finish however they like, that's fine, it's the mindset in general of that small minority that for me is like 'lol what's the point'

If Savage had beaten Steamboat at WrestleMania 3 I'm pretty sure the crowd wouldn't have expressed their enjoyment because the match was really good technically. They'd be upset that the guy they wanted to win didn't win. The same logic applies to today. The outcome is always more important at the moment than the technical wrestling value of the match. They wanted to see a certain outcome and didn't get it. So they booed.

I think the outcome was meh and the future product resulting from it will be shit. That's my problem. As I think many agree with me. The match and the product as a whole are not mutually exclusive. I can enjoy a match and hate the lead in and exit. I agree that I wish I could enjoy tonight beyond the 30 or so minutes I was entertained but I'm not going to pretend yesterday and tomorrow don't exist user to enjoy it. |

Csl, I think it's also harder for most fans to not be so negative when the great parts of tonight ends when the bells rings and now they have 5 weeks of rehashed clap to watch. Or at least that's how they feel.

but that's basically exactly what I'm getting at, you've already decided that, despite there being only 1 definite match (Trips/Hunter) and another almost certainty (Charlotte/Sasha or Charlotte/Sasha/Becky) that the next 5 weeks of TV, during which the rest of the entire card will be put together, are going to be '5 weeks of rehashed clap', that you already know how bad it's going to be. You're telling me you don't see how ridiculous that is?

Sounds pretty stinky, as of right now. It just seems uninteresting, like it could be literally any other PPV.

My cousin who is coming down from Iowa to attend with me is usually in kayfabe and a diehard fan just said that this could be the worse WrestleMania, but he's coming down to watch it with my brother and I so he's all for that.

Didn't watch the show. Reading the results I don't regret that decision at all. I'm no more interested in the Mania main event than I was after TLC when Reigns/HHH seemed locked in stone.
Hopefully they can put together something interesting for the Mania undercard. The "rumored" cards the past few weeks haven't sounded promising but they are just rumors and there is plenty of time to put together a show that sounds compelling. If somehow Cena is able to wrestle, Cena/Taker could be that spectacle match that will get interest from even the lapsed fans. |

As it stands now though they'll need to earn my Network subscription back after I cancelled post-Rumble. 10 bucks a month isn't a lot of money at all but it's still more than I'm willing to spend given my enjoyment of the regular product.
If I had time to watch a bunch of old stuff that I want to watch in the back catalog that would be worth my money on it's own...but since I can already catch NXT on Hulu (albeit on a one day delay) and am getting the rest of my wrestling fix from NJPW World I just don't see the point in going back to the Network atm. |

We are 5 weeks out with no thing but one match, the biggest match, on the card that no one cares to see and a story we have seen over and over. It's not hard for someone who has been watching for 20 years to look at the current roster, and the stories in place to figure out there isn't much we could enjoy coming down the road. Look where we stand...teased Lesnar issues with a Wyatt family that just went down to big show and Kane and rybacl. They might have some injured members. There is no way in 5 weeks they can make me care about that. If we are lucky they go Ambrose vs Lesnar which is suggested. That could be great, but where we stand now is Lesnar is dominate and a major face and Ambrose stands no chance and is the next biggest face in the company. The match would be epic but I don't see them booking it in a way we would jump for joy. Undertaker is facing God knows who. Could be great, but unless they bring out a shocking name, who is going to care? This is his last ride, pun intended, so I don't see a big name putting him over, and we have 5 weeks of part time taker to set it up. New day appears to be turning face and going after the league of nations. That alone makes the most entertaining part of the show boring, They have a lot of potential in the mid card with aj, Owens, Ziegler etc but they will be thrown into a fun spot fest match that will be the best part of mania with no solid build up. The divas could be the saving grace if we get a Becky, Sascha, Charlotte three way where they get time to bring down the roof. Unless the WWe changes the way they have been doing things for years, on the 5 weeks before the biggest event in their history, then yeah, it's ok for us to bitch because we do know what's coming. I'd be willing to bet I could write a card today that would be damn near what they put out. |

Undertaker v.s. Cena, which with 5 weeks doesn't sound good at all. It'll have to be Biker Taker or else, for serious.
It should be a rule that all the people on the WrestleMania card be in attendance of every RAW in some sort of way. |

Three major sports entities from the 90s are now considered SAWFT by the athletes and fans.
NFL, NBA and WWE The UFC isn't on enough to get into, the fan base there is usually the drizzling shits sans a few of them. We need to push Women's Lingerie Football and Mutant League Football to the forefront. |
