Loved that Gulak vs ZSJ match, esp after it followed up two high flyers. ZSJ looked much better here too.
Gulak is having a now traditional "CWC loser faces Hideo Itami" match as well which got people at the tapings all excited about how hard they both went at it. I am excited for it as well. |

I want to see these spoilers, but I also want to be surprised.
Not sure what to do here. Usually don't care about spoilers, but the tournament style has me intrigued. Fuck it, going old school, I'll see you all in this thread in a couple of weeks. |

My speculation of the semis and finals being in one night look to come true though. That is going to be an awesome night. |

Apparently the Full Sail crowd were cunts to TJ Perkins because they're man-children who can't handle Johnny losing. Fuck em.

Great set already. Give me 1-2 cruiserweight 10-15 min matches each Raw and I will happily tune in every Monday. I was hoping to see THE Brian Kendrick on Smackdown though.

Wonder if Gargano and Ciampa will take on the tag division as well? A good list to begin with.

I really like Perkins, it shows that he has the TV experience unlike many other of the talents, even if it is with TNA and he never spoke.....

My reaction when Brian Kendrick busted out a fucking Burning Hammer on WWE TV:
My reaction when Ibushi kicked out of the fucking burning hammer: My feelings when Ibushi pinned Kendrick: Me when Bryan started crying on commentary and then they hugged in the ring: You're fucking killing me, CWC |

This tournament is dead to me. All the people I wanted to win are gone and I don't really care for the remaining six.
Maybe Perkins. RIP The Brian Kendrick. |

I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that Kota Ibushi is worse than Hitler.

Seems insane to me that Ricochet hasn't been signed for this Cruiserweight Division. Or that Kalisto is on SmackDown.

Miz beats Ziggler at Backlash to keep the belt and continue Ziggler's mental break and self-defeat. Miz then gets in Bryan's face on SmackDown "Am I a coward now? Huh? Am I?" and suddenly through the crowd comes Kendrick, who beats on Miz and puts him in the Bully Choke. This deranged looking man looking man stares down at the IC Title. Security rushes out to get Kendrick, but Bryan tells them to back off. Kendrick just stares them all down. Bryan says they don't appreciate they're looking at THE Brian Kendrick and THE #1 Contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Kendrick then brushes past all the security guards on his way to the back.
Heading into No Mercy, they air videos showing Kendrick's transformation from cute young man that had his first match against Daniel Bryan: To his original run in the WWE, where he'd have the balls to antagonize some of the WWE's top stars: To his run as a Tag Team Champion, which stood as a record until just this year: To his transformation into one of the more devious minds in sports entertainment: To his descent. His obsession never reaching ultimate fulfillment. One more shot. One last chance to be The Man With the Plan. Kendrick wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship at No Mercy for the first time in his career. There is much happiness. Many tears. Daniel Bryan comes out to hug his buddy. On SmackDown, we meet Brian Kendrick again...this time freshly shaven and looking younger. He's achieved his moment. He proved that he can be more than an interim heavyweight champion in the WWE. Kendrick beats The Miz to retain the belt and then moves onto his next challenge...Heel Ziggler. "You might have been trained by HBK, Kendrick; but I am better than HBK..." |

Brian Kendrick needs to be included as a secret character in WWE 2k17, with one of his finishers as the Burning Hammer that destroys everybody.

I am all for Daniel Bryan to sign him on. They have a great re-entry into main roster story ready already, and their video production team can whip up a fantastic video segment for Smackdown.
