I think Dr Death is one of the most tragically underrated performers of not only his time but of all time. Vote out of love more than anything. Huge mark for his stuff.

Dr. Death was great, but Dibiase was memorable everywhere, including Japan.

Dr. Death growing an extra hand just to hold all his championships is definitely impressive.
However, I don't really know too much about him. I know I've seen him around, and the commentators would always talk about how is one of the greatest ever..... but he just never really stood out for me in what stuff I saw. Other than having the totally badass nickname of "Dr. Death"....... So gonna toss my vote to DiBiase..... doing it early this time too, so I don't forget (again)...... |

Dr.Death was awesome but MDM should have been a multiple time champion and was the best heel of his generation

Miracle Violence Connection and The Steiners put on my favorite tag matches ever. Williams could have been a bigger deal too if not for WWE going full retard and putting him in the Brawl for All. DiBiase is one of the best heel characters ever though. This one's tough. Think I'm going with Dr. Death though.

Money Lion bc Steve Williams was boring and his finisher on that NES Nintendo game was a head butt. Plus he's dead.

This was a tricky one for me. I have seen matches from both Million Dollar Man and Dr. Death. But i had to lean towards Dibiase. His work as possibly one of the best heels ever, "buying" the Championship from Andre the Giant. His money skits with kids in the crowd and his laugh. Really made you love to hate him.
Steve Williams had some damn good matches but besides that the only thing i remember is the JR/Dr.Death Seperate commentary table and Brawl for all. Eveybody's Got a Price for the Million Dollar Man! |

Steve Williams matches against Kenta Kobashi are enough of a reason to vote for him.

I have a very great fondness for Steve Williams. I am still bewildered that he never became a big name in the business, was always super entertained by what I managed to see of him.
Dibiase is a legend, but I didn't find him as "enchanting" as Steve Williams. Dibiase's character often seemed very bare bones and simple to me, he played the role to a T but Steve Williams was just something special altogether. Both of these guys should've been world champs... |

Gotta go with the Million Dollar Mang, shame Dr. Death's WWF run got botched as terribly as it did though.

"Let's put all our tough guys in a REAL tournament and piss all over the credibility of all but the winner. And then let's put the winner in a REAL fight against and ACTUAL boxer so he can get destroyed, thus making all your toughest wrestlers look like a fraud. Genius!"

Million Dollar Man mainly because I saw a lot more of his stuff and outside of the brief WWF and WCW runs, don't remember much about Dr Death.
Quote:
Instead the WWE legit thought Gunn was a good striker because of the tournament and Butterbean being fat meant he couldn't be that strong of a boxer. |

Holy crap, I didn't know they turned down an offer to lose. I thought he was just trying to prove a point.

yeah well I mean it's Bruce Prichard telling the story so take it for what it's worth.
But yeah I remember him saying Butterbean was okay with "doing business". fucking hilarous. |

I can just see that conversation now...
Butterbean: "Alright, so what are we doing? Run-in of some kind so Bart comes out looking strong or..." Vince: "No, you're actually going to fight him." Butterbean: "... Are you fucking retarded?" |

it makes sense because at that time because you hadn't really seen too many fat guys beat the shit out of ripped dudes. With MMAs popularity we know now that muscles don't help you fight.
I mean nevermind centuries of boxing should have been enough of a clue but whatever. So they just thought "Bart is jacked and butterbean is a fat fuck so Bart's got this" as Smeatball alluded to. |

Yeah, that doesn't make it make sense. If you think for two seconds past the point of "He's fat so Bart fucking Gunn can beat him up", your next thought should be "Though he IS a guy who makes a good living beating people up and Bart Gunn is a guy who pretends to beat people up and has only beaten up a few other guys who pretend to beat people up. Maybe this isn't a lock and could destroy the credibility of the only guy who didn't come out of this horrible idea looking like shit..."
Not a shred of it made sense. It was quite possibly the dumbest idea in the history of wrestling. And that's saying something. |

Million dollar man for my money. Such a perfect character and played to pure perfection. A workhorse in the ring who could carry anyone to a decent match.
I liked Dr. Death but he just wasn't the complete package like Dibiase. |
