It's a cynical age. People just like to find something to mock about everything, and then it goes viral. Most people probably don't even care/notice but it becomes a trend thing

He definitely lays it on more than he did in Batman Begins, but I have no issue with it.

Bale's voice was manipulated in post-production by Christopher Nolan and the sound editor.
I didn't have a particular problem with it, it didn't really affect my enjoyment of the movie. |

Some interesting stuff!
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2011/01/...y-as-catwoman/ She Looks Phenomenal In The Wardrobe” – Wally Pfister On Anne Hathaway As Catwoman Submitted by Brendon Connelly on January 31, 2011 – 12:30 pm (0) comments Kevin McCarthy of Washington DC’s Kevin and Josh Movie Show this week had a good long chat with Wally Pfister, Chris Nolan’s regular cinematographer, and I was lucky enough to be invited to join in and ask a few questions of my own. You may have taken part in the protest yourself, but in case you missed it, there was a lot of disappointment last week after Chris Nolan failed to receive a best director nomination from the Academy. Of course, Pfister and McCarthy shared in those feelings of confusion and dismay, and that’s where this conversation starts, before going on to discuss several Inception talking points, and the current state of play with The Dark Knight Rises. I think you may enjoy listening to their whole chat. Both hours of McCarthy’s show are now online, and the Pfister interview rounds out Part One (from 45:55 or so ), and starts up Part Two. It’s in Part Two that I join in and talk quickly turns to the new Batmovie. Pfister answers several questions, and makes it clear that he’s deep in prep, has read the screenplay. “As much as possible” will be filmed in IMAX, he promises, and he also makes specific reference the opening sequence being something impressive, something that could live up to, if not surpass, the spectacle of the last film. When asking questions I asked, first of all, about Pfister’s approach to shooting for IMAX and Cinemascope at once, and his answer is well worth listening to in full. Later, I chipped in about the “Robin Williams as Hugo Strange” rumour, but Pfister hadn’t even heard the story. He did admit, however, that a lot is kept secret from him and: They could turn around and surprise me too. It’s happened before. When I turned around and saw that list of girls that we were going to be screen testing before they cast Anne… I didn’t know myself who was real and who wasn’t until about two days before the tests when Emma told me. Talking of the screentests, Kevin asked: So, Wally you shot Anne’s screen test for Catwoman? To which he replied in the affirmative. That’s a yes to Kevin saying “Catwoman”, not “Selina Kyle”. Hmmm. Pfister added, a little later: She looks phenomenal in the wardrobe. I couldn’t let that lie. Later, I came back to it and asked if this meant what it seems to mean: Brendon, I’d get fired and I wouldn’t even get to shoot the picture… I can’t really say, but I definitely want to be around next year… Any doubt that Ms. Hathaway will be suiting up still remaining? I don’t think so. Or maybe he’s just played us all. It’s a possibility. Pfister was a most genial guest, and I’d recommend you check out the full 35 minutes or so of conversation. Thanks to Kevin for letting me join in, and for sending the audio over to share with you. |

I'm watching The Dark Knight again. And once you notice that voice, it really is ridiculous. First time I've seen the movie, I haven't noticed at all, but probably because I was drunk. Second time, I giggled a bit. Now it's just hilarious.

French newspaper is reporting that Marion Cotillard will be joining the cast. Rumour swirling that she'll be Talia Al Ghul.
This is turning into a jampacked cast. |

That's what I'm becoming afraid of. Bane, Selina Kyle, possibly Hugo Strange (also rumours of Levitt possibly playing Alberto Falcone), Talia Al Ghul. I guess potentially, you could put Bane and Talia together, have Selina be a sort of anti-hero, and have Strange inciting everyone against Batman. Still, lot of strands either way.

Supposedly they're filming in New York this week. Plate shots or summat of a snowy New York.
The same site that reports that, BatmanOnFilm, also says that the movie will begin filming in India and a major scene will be filmed in October at the New York Stock Exchange. |

He probably just told everyone on the set of Inception that they could be in the new Batman movie without knowing what he was going to do with them.

It also seems like he is putting all of these characters into the movie just for the sake of having them as film characters. Quite frankly I would prefer to just have The Riddler instead of a bunch of these minor characters scattered throughout the film, mainly because I really wanted The Riddler to be in this movie.

I'm not too worried about it to be honest. People are complaining about 3 villians being overkill, usually citing Spiderman 3 as the basis for the argument but when you look at BB and TDK they both had 3 villians in them. Scarecrow, Falcone, and Ras at the end in BB. Joker, Moroni, and Two Face at the end of TDK. This time around its looking like it could be Bane, Falcone, Catwomen at the end. If Catwomen shows up at all, the end could very well be Talia if Cotillard is infact in the movie.
Either way I think Nolan knows what hes doing and I expect him to wrap up this trilogy the right way. |

Agree with Heros. I mean, just because you have multiple villians doesn't mean the story is going to suffer. The problem Spider-Man 3 ran into was trying to fit too much into the story.
I think Nolan will pull through. There's no reason to doubt him as he has yet to really disappoint. Not to mention, I'd figure he's a very driven guy, and the idea of being one of few who can pull of not only a sequel, but a 2nd sequel and make it great as a stand alone film, sounds like something he'd want to do. This has also been his largest and longest tenured project. I don't think he's going to allow it go in the dump. |
