Spider-Man 2 Soundtrack
This one looks like it's worth picking up. New songs by Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, The Ataris, and a few others. You can check out the little 30 sec previews of the songs at the official movie website.

Dashboard confessional--Crap
Train--Not bad. Hoobastank--Sounds iffy, like their newer pussified stuff, but might be okay. Jet--Boring Yellowcard--Bland crap. Maroon 5--Not as good as half their stuff. Taking Back Sunday--See Dashboard Confessional. Midtown--Okay, I guess. Not horrible. Lostprophets--meh. Smile Empty Soul--Decent. Ataris...They can do better Ana Johnson--What, was Fefe Dobson or Avril unavailable? :meh: Jimmy Gnekko feat Brian MAy--I don't think even Brian could get me to buy this track. Overall, the soundtrack is utter shit. |

I'll have to wait until I actually hear it to see if I disagree The lineup just sounded promising. It seemed better than the usual Nickelback or Evanescance or whatever they try to put on these things.

Man, is it me, or does Hollywood not know how to put together a proper soundtrack anymore?

No the worst soundtrack ever would be S Club 7's to there own film.
As I said before think it's a quality line up with Dashboard, Midtown, Yellowcard, Taking Back Sunday, Ataris, Lostprophets and Maroon 5. |

Just expressing my opinion. I've never been in a brawl over the "quality" of a band.

After actually hearing the thing, it's not as great as I expected. Those bands on any regular cd would probably be awesome, but this is a bit too movie themed for my taste. Most of the songs are just ok. The Midtown song is probably my fav off the whole album.

daredevil is my all time favorite movie soundtrack
Maybe the fact that it broke Evanescence into the big time has to do with that |

That's an utterly shit soundtrack.
However, that classical thing they play in trailers is awesome and gives me goosebumps. |

The soundtrack probably fits the movie (if Spinderman 2 is anything like the first one, I'll sleep through it as well)
