Alexander
Another movie, I presume along the lines of Gladiator, Troy or King Arthur. This one could be good. Being that so much happened during Alexander's rule.
Who likes these types of movies? |

I'm gonna see this one cause I love Angelina Jolie and Colin Farrell. I meant to see Troy and King Arthur in the theatre and never did...so I have to wait on those.

How many worthless bombs will it take for these directors to understand? War epics only work with people who can fucking act.

It's either going to be a major hit like Gladiator or a huge bomb like Troy

Colin Farrel is one of the few actors on a very special list I have. Farrel, Vin Diesel, and Drew Barrymore are people whose movies have been so bad up to this point, that I refuse to watch anything else they're ever involved in. I don't care how appealing the rest of the movie looks, I just refuse.
The only one who has been in anything tolerable is Barrymore, she somehow ended up in Donnie Darko. She also snuck into Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. |

Colin Farrell kicks much ass. He was the only thing in Daredevil that I liked.

He's the most famous Macedonian, thats where my people are from so I'll go to see it. Even though they have an Irish guy playing him, its probably better than Di Caprio whose doing an Alexander movie as well.

I always end up seeing these types of movies. Not always in the theater, but I see them.
I hope it's at least half as good as I expect it to be. |

Unless Angelina gets naked, nothing will save this movie.

It's release date has been delayed 3 weeks. From early to late Nov. Usually not a god sign, although they say it's because they figure it would have better Oscar chances due to the later start... Something I find somewhat confusing.

I think this film will be ok, some of you in here make me laugh.
All these people can't act, well I'd like to see some of you do better and the fact that it's directed by Oliver Stone gives me hope. Kilmer isn't the best of actors but he's been great in some films. I think Colin Farrel was great in Phone Booth, Daredevil and that Britsh film that came pout earlier this year and I can't remeber it's name. Anyway rant over, looks like a decent film. |
