I can't imagine him hyping himself with video promos for 6 months. That's a long time to just hype someone. Though if they kept him involved in some capacity, it would be amazing. Possibly just have him manage Eli Cottonwood or a new member of his cult. I could deal with Eli Cottonwood matches for a few minutes a week if it kept Wyatt in the spotlight.

Wyatt could still be an on-air character. I think Brodie Lee would make a tremendous follower for him. Wyatt can talk for Lee and develop his character. Anyway, other thoughts:
* Seth Rollins still doesn't do it for me. His work with Dean Ambrose in FCW was absolutely tremendous, but I just do not give one flying fuck about his spazz-out stuff yet. It's still early days, I guess. I really think the best way to kick off the new NXT would have been with Triple H introducing the show and then Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose as the first match. Rollins would go over, and then the next week Ambrose would cost Rollins his second match in NXT. Commence feud. And I do like the Blackout, but not as a finisher. * Bo Dallas both looks good and terrible at the same time. I cannot describe it. He really should be playing a creepy American Psycho-type character, in my opinion. The blue-chip babyface thing is pretty bland thus far. * Kassius Ohno was good in the ring and technically good on the mic, but there's just something weird about how he is presenting himself. Not bad. I would like to hear William Regal convey what it is to the audience. His character is pretty understated. It's like he's meant to be a prize-fighter or something like that. It goes against his look, but I kind of enjoy that. * I think I'm kind of in love with Paige. I didn't think I would be, but I am. I was a big supporter of the WWE signing Sofia Cortez, but I really wanted to see Paige beat her. Two great ladies there. * I really enjoyed Jake Carter & Corey Graves. For those who don't know, Corey Graves is apparently "Sterling" James Keenan from ROH. I like his look. He's that darkly charming but rough looking guy that lives the party lifestyle and gets laid all the time. Jake Carter had something really weird about him that I liked -- he looks like an all-American pretty boy, but he comes across as dark and violent. I don't know if it's on purpose, but I really think that his character should be that he has his model mother's looks crossed with his father's legendary warrior genes. Vader would have gotten so much pussy in his career for just being such a...man. And that should be where Carter comes from, I think. The product of savage intensity and trophy beauty. These guys could be a fantastic team, in my opinion, and it might be early days, but if their characters are what I think they will be, then I think they will be really great personas. I'm just waiting for Graves to talk about how he grew up hating everybody and Carter talking about how his father was never there because he was over in Japan -- and kids would constantly try to fight him to see if he was as tough as his dad. Their connection could be their common disdain for the world. * Jinder Mahal is actually doing good work in NXT, I think. He should probably stay there forever. |

May I say that I love Carter and Graves' theme? Failing to find it online though.

NXT needs some babyface teams. Personally, I like Jason Jordan and think he has a natural in-ring energy. I also enjoy Mike Dalton as a sympathetic babyface. Have Tenille Dashwood -- the Aussie that went to train with Lance Storm, who also trained Dalton -- as their valet, and present them as a high-energy face team. Dalton takes the beatings and then tags in Jordan who cleans house. Give them a team name (how about "Perfect Storm?") and let them play face foils to The Ascension and the Late Night Outlaws (Carter & Graves).

Brodie Lee could probably fill the same role...but since he just started recently he likely needs to learn "WWE style" first. |

But Brodie Lee can do all that to a better standard AND kick dudes in the face really hard.

The bad news is he has a mustache, but the good news is he doesn't have a moustache.

Brodie Lee is fucking bad ass. He'd be an awesome "follower" for Bray Wyatt and has been in Wyatt's promos.
I kinda like Ohno, just wish he had a bit more size to him. |

wouldn't be surprised to see him "firm up" a bit in the same way Danielson is a bit more cut up now than when he first started on TV

Brodie Lee is using the name "Luke Harper" in FCW now. Sounds passable enough, actually. Luke Harper as a follower of Bray Wyatt seems like a good fit. I would not be able to wait for Wyatt kicking down the door on either RAW or SmackDown and just start attacking big names with Luke Harper in tow.

What is it about Kassius Ohno you liked? I liked him, too, but I have no clue what factor it is that really stood out to me.

He's got a cool look and I like his gimmick, just wish he were a bit bigger, but that's a major complaint I have for alot of this season: everybody is 6"2-6"4 220-240 pounds. It's nicer having variety.

Expecting a Noid review and a Skippord walkthrough as usual. |

Definitely worth the wait. Regal did a great job building up the guy with the rattlesnake preacher story and Bray Wyatt was legit creepy in the match. I just hope he can make it through the injury now.

The kiss goodnight before the finisher as well as the head cradling during the pinfall was genius btw.

Another good match now. Best one of the PTP I would say. Only 3 matches with 1 being a squash and the usual PPV build-up but it was a very good wrestling show.

Tyson Kidd is fantastic. Still weird seeing him on NXT jobbing to Camacho and feuding with McGillicutty when he is in the MitB match and seemingly receiving a push.
Ok. Now that I have seen Bray Wyatt in the ring, I can say that he has firmly won me over. He managed to keep up his gimmick during the match, and was moving about well. I liked that he kept his shirt on so I couldn't see his terrible tattoos, or him jiggling about. I really hope they find some way to keep him on TV through his injury. Disliked the Seth Rollins promo/package. Dude just comes across as so forced. Liked the Richie/Kruger segment. Nothing much, but a hint of having some actual sort of storyline/feuds with the new talent. The "Exfoliating Ugliness Tour" showed promise, but they could have come up with a better name for it. Prime Time Players vs The Usos. Jim Ross saying it is an important match to try to impress WWE Officials. You know. Because it is not like the PTP are not already the number one contenders for the tag titles. Found myself bored with this match. Probably because it seemed like The Usos got very little offense. |

Camacho is the son of Haku. If he is trained in the least bit like his father, they should let him loose instead of hiding him behind Hunico.

I always thought that the Tongan Death Grip was a good finisher. Someone, preferably Camacho, needs to bring it back.

Liked this week's episode and like how well Wyatt managed to carry over the hype video promos to actual in-ring stuff.
Also like how NXT shows some focus on tag team wrestling when RAW struggles to do anything with actual tag team wrestling most of the time. Exfoliating Ugliness Tour. I assume Diaz took over Layla's and McCool's "Beautiful People" rip off gimmick now. |
