Gender equality in wrestling, how to have it?
I say let the women fight the men and challenge for the better titles. Also if the men can wrestle bare chested then so should the women, it would be easier for them to move around and not boil their tits off in those hot costumes.
Let the women take part in submission matches, cage matches, tits matches, strap on matches etc. Also the male fans in attendance should be allowed to masturbate. |

I actually thought it would be kind of cool if one year the Money in the Bank Winner, for reasons that would need to be explained, gave away or sold the Money in the Bank title shot. Someone like Bad News Barrett, for example, could imply that he's been given enough money to retire on for it, and he knows he'll earn a title shot through other means. Barrett could also say that quite a few men have cashed in to become the World Heavyweight Champion, but he'll forever be the man who turned that shot down and be immortalized because of it.
Bray Wyatt is another guy who could surely convince people that there are reasons he has given away the Money in the Bank briefcase. "I don't fight for titles! I fight to inspire you!" Anyway, one night the champion is laid out and then AJ Lee's music hits. She comes skipping out...with the Money in the Bank briefcase. It becomes apparent that AJ Lee has come into possession of the case -- either by buying it off Wade Barrett or because of some twisted relationship with Bray Wyatt. Lee then cashes in the briefcase and skips around before she lays on top of the downed opponent and becomes the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. If the champion was Daniel Bryan at this point, it would play right into their long history with each other -- Bryan essentially fucking up AJ. Can you imagine the promo by AJ Lee? "Daniel, you can blame me for this 18 second title loss..." The only thing is that I don't know where you go once AJ Lee is champion. Would she be forced to compete against male competitors? Would she even be sanctioned as the champion? I could see Stephanie McMahon making the decision that women competing against men is not what is #BestforBusiness, so AJ Lee will be stripped of the title, although she is going to recognise the official title win. Perhaps she gets to defend the title a few times against some of the women in WWE? AJ Lee vs. Brie Bella for the WWE World Heavyweight Title? That would be surreal. But it allows AJ to get some title defenses in before Stephanie McMahon makes the decision that Lee is no longer the champion. |

I wouldn't mind if they were just presented as something a bit more than LOOK WE PUT LADIES IN SKIMPY THINGS NOW THEY SMACK EACH OTHER AROUND WHILE YELLING ABOUT SOMETHING.
I can admit, I haven't been in the wrestling game long, but just being shown a bunch of ladies yelling and half-ass throwing each other around is not interesting or good for their image. Let me see some legitimate conflict, some hardcore heels and faces, personalities even. Everyone is running around so undefined that it's like watching amebic forms having temper tantrums. |

I think that in order to have women convincingly compete with men, they need to look the part. Get some big roller-derby type women, or some bigger ladies like Bull Nakano or ODB, who look like they can take hits from guys. You can still have smaller women like Paige or AJ, just treat them as cruiserweights.
Really though, the biggest thing in making women's wrestling as important as the men's would be to integrate them into main storylines with their own identities and motivations beyond "wrestler's girlfriend.". Hell, just giving them all last names would help. |

I think we are looking at this the wrong way.... the question is not how do we raise the women up to be equal.... it is how we drop the men down to the women's level....
Pink skimpy costumes for all. |

SHINE has these now and then. They're sometimes booked well instead of merely as chumps who can't cut in the ring and so need to live their wrestling dreams vicariously through their broad.

I think a mixed-gender team winning the Tag Team Titles would go a long way. Say, Emma and Santino, or Natalya and Tyson Kidd since they're married IRL.

What about women wrestling topless? There's a place in Manchester where you can wrestle with topless women in a ring and all. Imagine Tamina naked yummy.

I like that there are a few storylines going on for the girls at the moment. Right now there is the potential for:
* Paige vs. AJ Lee * Layla vs. Summer Rae vs. Emma * Tamina Snuka vs. Natalya (just have Nattie play the role of the mentor to the young girls and tries to keep Tammy out of AJ's business) * The Bella Twins vs. The Funkadactyls vs. Alicia Fox & Aksana (who is the best Diva team in WWE?) Having those four storylines play out could lead to a series of intriguing matches and allow the girls to develop actual personalities. |

Instead of jobbing established tag teams to them directly, Meanie had Brown & Hunter win a tag team battle royal - but it was mostly Brown with a wormy Hunter acting like a heel coward when it was her turn to bump. Matt Striker got in some good licks when teaming with Robbie E, though (as Ultimate Stryker and Rob Eckos). They then defended against jobbers before Anthony Durante and Mike Kruel beat them. |

Because most men don't want to feel like chumps when they watch intergender wrestling, here are some ground rules:
#1 - The women must take bumps like the men. No prima donnas! #2 - Screw jobs, cheating, no-DQ matches, and outside interference should be minimized, or else lots of matches will be the women winning by having their friends help them 2- or 3-on-1. (See any Gateway Championship Wrestling match involving MsChif circa 2003.) #3 - If hitting a woman is that big a deal, then institute a rule where male competitors cannot strike female competitors - but they still CAN stretch, trip, slam, powerbomb, etc. the women. Then you're off to a reasonable compromise between realism and 'fairness'! |

If it gets over, they can stay in the mix and compete in the tag division more often. If not, it's still something WWE can spin into a success story later to pat themselves on the back for being progressive and such. |
