Survivor Series just got 1000% more interesting.
They could do qualifying/preliminary rounds over the next few weeks, we'd have matches with meaning and they'd be able to feature a few more guys (maybe in a meaningful way) per week, and spin off the happenings in the tournament into new storylines. |

Wow, talk about a ratings panic move. Try to relive Deadly Games.
Except they'll probablly make it lame like KOTR and only have the semis and final at the PPV. |

Pretty much. At this point, I'll only watch again if they have a consistent run of interesting sounding shows. Kinda skipped through Summerslam and that's the only wrestling I've watched since the Raw after Mania.
Oh, and I watched New Day clips. |

This could really be used to push Bray. I'd hate to say it but why not have Bray beat Reigns with the souls of Taker and Kane and continue that feud. Anyone buy Roman, also could see Kevin Owens stepping in as the Authorities favorite now and somehow winning the title.

Just saw this on Twitter. Survivor Series 98 got me into wrestling and there's never been a better ppv. I may watch it if they have at least 8 guys in the tournament during the ppv

It also seems to indicate that these vanilla midgets can't be relied on. They all seem too fragile.

What so if there's going to be a tournament bring back Lesnar, Cena, Taker and Sting from their injuries/hiatuses?
Indeed if the former two aren't injured, no way they can have any sort of tournament to crown at WHC and not include those two. |

Put it on Undertaker. What better way to mark his 25th anniversary in WWE than by winning the belt. Stranger things have happened.

Time for a good old fashioned naked oil wrestling tournament. |

If he's injury free I see let this be the chance to give Sting his WWE title run....minimal work to win the belt and keeps it for a short while.
Yes everyone's saying it's silly to give a 56/57 year old dude the belt but (assuming he recovers from injury) I can't imagine him having jobbed twice including once at WM without being offered something big in return. Don't want Sting's last mark on wrestling to be a whimper although if the injury is too serious that's how it will have to be. Undertaker is another possibility maybe Lesnar v Taker 4 oh how tedious, but merely for the emotional aspect of it being the 25th anniversary of his debut. Lesnar of course. Cena if he's back getting his record title. I'm still unconvinced about Reigns as a champion, I'd prefer Ambrose. |

Its interesting because they could do the same booking as 98 Survivor Series with Roman.
Cant see them doing anything more than an 8 man tournament on the show, which would be fine. Have a bunch of qualifying matches over the next two weeks on RAW. Reigns shouldnt have to qualify. |

This will suck if it is only semis at the PPV. They have a chance here to invest in 8 characters or a few stories and make them really interesting.
8 should be Roman, Ambrose, Owens, Ryback, Big Show, Kane, Del Rio, Ziggler Have Kane and Big Show in there to highlight authority shenanigans and blur lines. Kane having to guarantee an authority win to get his job back. Have Del Rio or possibly even Ziggler caught talking to HHH or Steph during the night. Have tension between Roman and Reigns. Owens making a great showing. Have Sheamus beaten in a qualifier by Reigns and have him sulking about in the background. If Lesnar is in, ditch Big Show and him being in would really make things interesting. If they do this right, it could be the biggest event of the year. It should have a feel like anything could happen on the night. |

Can you imagine the pop if the authority screwed Lesnar in the final to put over Reigns and Lesnar only reappeared in the Rumble as number 30?

Something that would be original, albeit a bit strange would be the Authority getting Sheamus through the tournament without using the case.
Easy to set him up as a massive heel and an obstacle if you basically have to beat him twice to make sure he doesn't cash in straight after a loss |
