Damn.. that's tough. Leaning toward Randy since he was able to build up Cody and that other guy under his stable. Granted WWE screw the one guy with bad booking but whatever. They are both legit Superstars. Tough choice.

Going with Orton. He's been consistently solid since 2002 and has had some pretty amazing feuds in addition to being a 13× World Champion. I can recall really enjoying his "Legend Killer Tour" stuff.

Orton.
Loved his feuds with Christian and Daniel Bryan, as well as a lot of his earlier years. |

This should be close and I had to think for a sec, but voted Orton. Brock is/was great and all, but hard to compare his part-time career to 10+ years of main event time from Orton....

Randy Orton might be the laziest full time worker not have ever been shit canned. He has spent huge scores of his career phoning it in.
Lesnar is a draw unlike Orton could ever dream. Lesnar can outwork Orton by mistake. The only realy way Orton out does Lesnar is on the mic, and its not by much. Ortons promos are Triple H light. |

They both haven't changed a bit over the years. Yet Orton is there all the time and Brock only once in a while, so he doesn't bore me like Orton does. It's always the same shit with Orton. I liked his punting times, but I am sick and fucking tired of RKO OUTTA NOWHERE memes.
So I'm gonna go with Brock. I still like Orton, but they should do something to refresh his character. |

I think you can do more things with Randy than you can with Brock. Brock is Brock, which is awesome, but there's little else you can do with him. Randy can do pretty much anything and play multiple roles at an extremely high level

If Randy had it all, and is so well rounded, why did he not make it to the heights of a John Cena? He is the perennial semi-main guy. The guy who goes on before the guy. The second biggest match of the night.
Brock on the other hand is the draw. He is a phenomenal athlete and a true global star with true drawing power. Brock brings true excitement and that big match feel that Orton has seldom brought, despite many opportunities. You can argue that it is Brock's sparce appearances that do it, but I think it is much more than that. He is a believable monster and people pay to see that. He is the better athlete, the better draw and the bigger star. Don't see where Orton has him beat enough to make it a contest. |

Orton is a conundrum. Really sweet finisher, really boring character 80% of the time, good matches maybe 60% of the time. Depending on who he is working with he is either dreadfully boring to watch in the ring (except for the RKO), or he can have some really good matches.
Brock Lesnar was great before he left, with his in-ring stuff better than anything Orton has ever done. After coming back his "aura"/"presence"/"mystique" is on a whole other level. Which is largely helped by him not being there year round. His matches nowadays are actually pretty bad in a "wrestling" sense of view, but you get sucked in due to "spectacle". So, in conclusion..... I'm voting Brock Lesnar because F Randy Orton for being booked to take the title off of Christian two days after he won it. |

Always seemed like a very distant number two, though. Like the gap between him and Cena was very wide.

I like Randy, though he's not flashy he gets the job done and is consistent really....however....I voted Lesnar. I've always been a "technical wrestler" mark, and Brock's got that (even though he hasn't been using much this run) His match with Angle at mania 19 is one of my favourites despite the botched Shooting Star Press. He comes across as a legit monster and having Paul Heyman adds to the aura.....he's too good to talk to us and has someone do it for him.

This for me. Lesnar is the number 1 guy right now, by a long way, and was on a better trajectory than Orton before when left. He is more talented and has more charisma for me. He is one of a kind, while Orton just blends into the background.

Lesnar all the way. Hel, when he is allowed to do his thing his own way he can cut a better promo than Orton

Goooooodammmit. I expected to just vote for Brock without eve having to think about it for a couple more rounds.
Orton really is almost a prototypical "sports entertainer" though. He might not be a mega-star but he's money in every way that matters. And like Gertner said, you can do more with him than you can do with Brock. For example, Brock doesn't work as a face for me at all. Orton does. That being said, I can't shake the fact that Brock, pushed at his best, is more intriguing than Orton at his best. Leaning toward Brock because of that. Tough call though. |

On second thought, Lesnar is definitely gonna win this. So I'm voting Orton. Just to make it closer. Because it really should be closer than it will be.

Went with Lesnar.
Orton has the longevity and more memorable moments from it but he's also like Big Show and Kane where the longevity has also been a big negative as well. Also for someone treated as a #2 star or "Rock/Macho" to Cena's "Austin/Hogan" status, he's rarely lived up to that status. Even though Lesnar's career is shorter, he still has that special mystic and had some really great moments in that time frame. Give Lesnar the nod in terms of wrestling skills mainly due to not being bored with his matches and him having some really great agility for someone of his size. |

Are you serious here? Orton wrestles circles around Brock. Orton very rarely makes mistakes and delivers a crisp, clean, exciting match almost every time. Money in the Bank was an outlier, but I don't know how much of that can really be attributed to him.
Brock on the other hand can no doubt bring the power and pain to any opponent, but I feel like he doesn't have quite the same connection with crowds in his matches as Orton, and while his matches tend to be solid to great overall, I find that his matches are less technically sound as opposed to Orton. |

Orton is technically sound because he wrestles at a pace that suggest he thinks he's Greg the hammer Valentine.

Remember the technical classics he had with benoit, angle and Guerrero? Orton truely is a cut above.
