Sounds like a scapegoating to me...

From TPWW's own news columms...

http://www.tpww.net/headlines/1074151033.html

"Wrestlers were reportedly told to look at the recent Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels match to see what their definition of a "good match" is, and were told to step up and seize opportunities. However, some wrestlers resented this, of course, since many of them receive absolutely no opportunities and it is difficult to step up when you are given no television time, while the Triple H/HBK match got 30 minutes."

Yeah, be more like the featured guys, but make it big without any airtime.

“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Yeah. On the other hand, they can't work to fast, thrill the crowd with nice spots, or put on thrilling, poet, thrilling matches that outshine the main eventers.

so you must compete at the level at the top guys without outshinin the guys. You must work good but you can't work at a speed that you are comfy with.

Perfect logic.

Funny meeting

On the one hand management is right, every young guy, hel not just the young guys, nearly all the people in the company should watch that match and use it as a teaching tool.

HOWEVER

Its so pathetic that they are telling guys who get 3 minutes if they are lucky to learn from the HHH-HBK match. First, both those guys didn't have people like HHH preventing them from getting over. And second how can you tell the same story in a tenth of the time. So its like an impossible standard to live up to if you dont get the push to make fans care like they do about HHH and HBK, and if you get 3 minutes how do you tell a story?

I wonder if anyone gave the writers some RAW and SD's from 2000 and tell them to watch those shows and learn how to book a wrestling show.
