Yeah.......I'm really not a fan of that. I'm interested in Orton and Wyatt facing off but I really don't want weeks of Wyatt being a clueless idiot about Orton's actual motivations. It was bad enough when they had Seth Rollins do the exact same thing a couple of years ago, and everybody saw it coming then too.
Now if Orton eventually goes to RKO him and Wyatt immediately counters into a Sister Abigail because he's actually an intelligent heel who knew the snake was ready to turn on him - THAT would rule. |

Better interview segment than RAW last night. Then again doing it live helps out a lot.

I'm not sure where they are going with Wyatt/Orton, but at this point I think it would be better for Bray to "set Orton free" because he wants the match. I dunno. Might make Wyatt cooler than a dude who doesn't want to fight Randy.

Battle Royale next week for #1 contendership for the WWE title sounds good.
Bryan blaming Renee for jinxing Bray-Orton matchup for the title and now Bryan having to go with a new plan instead. |

If Styles-Shane really does happen at Mania then this week's Talking Smack is how it started.
Styles was a lot more pissed than usual and Bryan passed the blame to Shane for why Styles didn't get his 1v1 rematch for the title. |

• Three matches on SmackDown was a bit of a surprise. Aren't there usually more?
• Tag Team match was actually pretty good. I saw that the "Resurrect The Ascension" sign guy and his mother were back in the front row. The Usos have been really good as heels and I can see this going all the way to WrestleMania. Also, why were they in the back of a truck with a lamp? • The crowd didn't seem to bother much that Corbin was attacking Ambrose. Now, I don't know if it was because of what was going on or because Corbin, once again, sucked the arena dry but usually you would expect at least some noise. There were cheers and chanting when Ambrose got the upper hand, but the crowd sounded pretty quiet for that type of segment. Also, Corbin should shave. The pre-pubescent moustache makes him look a hell of a lot worse than he already does. • Alexa Bliss' promo actually reminded me of Trish Stratus from her time as a heel back in 2004. Just little things, such as her facial expressions and what she was saying and how she was saying them. I'm still expecting Naomi to drop the title at WrestleMania though. • The main event was really good, but Orton giving up his spot was really interesting. I would say that Harper could win the battle royal and then we have a Wyatt triple threat, but I don't know how Orton would manage to get his WrestleMania spot back after giving it up and for it all to make sense. Also, I don't know if Harper is "ready" for a WrestleMania main event spot for the WWE Championship. He's good, but I think that spot for him would be far far too early if it were to come now. A part of me still thinks that Harper/Wyatt will happen at WrestleMania instead, probably by Harper costing Wyatt the title on SmackDown or the title being vacated for some reason. Orton would then face the champion at WrestleMania or, if vacated, the number one contender. Seeing as AJ Styles doesn't seem to have anything going for him for WrestleMania at the moment, my money is on it being him if what I said actually happens, which it probably won't. • Overall, SmackDown was alright this week but it has been better. I think more matches were needed. |

People internally were very happy with Orton vs Harper. Going by the way they have laid out the storyline it always seemed like Harper would play a role. Either by interfering, being at ringside, or being in the match. Either way, you tell the same story.
As for Orton, I think he just plays the contract card. He says look I won the Rumble, I get the spot in the match note that it's Harper who won the battle royal. Bryan and Shane have to keep Harper in the match because now he too has a contract. Or they could just have Orton and Harper have a match. |

"As long as you are the master and I am the servant, I will not face you."
Well, that qualifies things to hell, doesn't it? At some point, Orton will declare that he's the master, and Obi Wan will be like "strike me down and I will be come more powerful than you can imagine!" Wait, what? |
