Tribute to the living legend. Just ordered tickets to see him preform on Saturday. To me he is one of the funniest men alive. His Dirty Jokes dvd routine is hilarious along with the extras. It is probably my most watched dvd of all time and I just got it like 6 months ago. Also have one of his old HBO stand ups on dvd with a pilot for a tv show written by Larry David. Show was alright, but had some weird animation shit in it that was not funny at all. Gilbert worked behind a newsstand, had some really funny moments. Plus he is one of the dirtiest comics around (see: Aristocrats) and yet he does a shitload of voice over acting for kids shows. Used to watch the PBS show he was on just cause he was on it.
Recall him telling a story once, that he was opening for some teen chick band, like Dixie Chicks or something like that. Crowd was a lot of young girls, he wasn't going over all that great so did as many cunt jokes as he could think of before they made him get off stage. Got to respect a man like that. Discuss why you love, or for some stupid reason hate, Gilbert Gottfried.

He is getting married and having a kid, which for him, is HUGE.. Like, he's never lived with a girl before and is mad shy and what not.. He's funny sometimes but I don't go outta my way to check him out.. The only reason I know about him is he's always on Howard Stern..

He's sometimes good. I can't stand his voice though so more often than not I turn him off.

I saw him and Mitch Hedberg live when I was in college. Great show.
