That's true, I was shocked when I heard we were going in for Keane but if we do get rid of Crouch then we do need to get in another foward. Kuyt rarely scores and rarely plays up front and Voronin isn't good enough.
Plus if Torres is out for a while, at least we have a quality replacement.

Since we are so dead right about now on this forum, what is the history behind Nottingham Forest? From casual research I know they used to be huge, but now are in what, League One? What happened? Could they ever get back?

Notts Forest have won the old First Division once, yet won the European Cup twice back in the 1970's, were pretty much a huge club from the 1970's until around the late 1990's. They still have the potential to be a decent Premier League side but have not come anywhere near to doing so for quite some years. They got promoted to the Championship after finishing as runners up in League One last season

It should be noted their success was mainly due to Brian Clough, a 'unique' but very effective and perhaps even underrated manager.

Come on Rob, having good players and winning games and trophies should NOT get you a place in the premiership and you know it. We are just making up the numbers until sleeping giants like Southampton and Coventry wake up and reclaim their rightful place.

He might do alright there. I think more British players should try playing abroad. Paul Lambert and John Collins both came back from Europe at least twice as good as they were before.
