City of Heroes/Villains
I'm just wondering how many people play CoH/CoV?
I just started a tanker in CoH, and got him to lv 6 last night. The leader of my sg might pl me so I can get more prestige for the sg. I've never asked to be pl'ed, but I've never refused. Albeit when I joined my supergroup my roommate got a little upset since he wanted to start a sg when he his lv 10.... But come on.... Portals! Dude, freakin' portals to 11 areas, power leveling, and I can use a lv 50 like an atm. I have a mastermind in CoV. Robots/Bubbles. It was eating away and my end so I used a respec and went into the fitness power pool. Awesome choice since personal force field is pretty useless, and I can always get assualt again later on. It's taken me almost three months to get him at lv22, and I plan on making him hit 50 before I work on another villain. It's getting harder to lv up, so I'm going to work in groups more often. I started a few years ago, but I took a year off and lost all the info for my account. I spent a good 6 months working on an eng/eng blaster, and I was able to get all the debt badges before a lv 50 tanker in my old sg. This was al lv34. I still cringe whenever I see someone playing as an eng/eng blaster. So how many other people play CoH/CoV? What server do you play on? (insert random CoH/CoV question here)? Any tips for anyone? What do you play as? Which one do you think is better? Quote:

Played it, didn't like it to much. Only played it for a week, and that's only because my ex played it and she wanted me to play it with her so we had another game to play besides WoW.

It's nice for a change of pace from the norm, but it isn't a very polished game. It didn't feel very 'solid' when I played it, and I got bored REALLY fast. Great customization though.. that's about the main positive to the game.

I played City of Heroes with some gamer friends from Warcraft III when it came out. I wasn't much into it but we all purposely picked the flavor of the month... uh... fire/something blaster I think it was at the time. Aoe/slowed everything really fast and all lvled at the same time for about a week then I quit.
Somehow some of them talked me into getting City of Villains and I played that for about a day and got incredibly bored. The game is boring. World of Warcraft is superior in every way. |

Which isn't saying much, since WoW is a pretty generic game that didn't really bring anything new to the genre.
