Is it possible that Jimmy Hart owns the rights to the song?

He owns the rights to a lot of WWE's and especially WCW's themes. Hogan's current theme and I think he owns the Demolition theme, to name a few.

I'd have thought Hogan owns the rights to it himself considering it's from that album although Hart is in 'the band' as well

I think Jarrett getting off the air would be for the best. They just have too much young talent, and far more worthy veterans.

I've never been a fan though

Loose Cannon
02-25-2010, 09:54 PM
I actually don't mind the storyline Jarrett is in right now. It's a good fit for him. I think he's useful because of his history with the company and him putting it all together.

Jeritron
02-25-2010, 09:56 PM
The crop of Hogan, Flair, Angle, Foley, Sting and The Outsiders is more than enough for established vets. They draw.

But with AJ, Joe, Pope, Wolfe, Kennedy, Beer Money, Matt Morgan, MCMG, and more younger stars, theres just no excuse for Jarrett other than that he has power behind the scenes.

I'm not thrilled with keeping/signing more midcarders from WWF/WCW days. It's pointless.

Obviously if they can get the oppurtunity to sign a guy like RVD or Jeff Hardy, they should take it. Aside from that they need to stop signing as many castoffs from Heat and Thunder as they can find.

Loose Cannon
02-25-2010, 09:58 PM
yea, I agree. They need big names, not Shannon Moore.

I would love to see Heyman in the company. And then if they can somehow pull a major upper card guy away from WWE this year, that would be awesome. I dunno what everyone's contracts look like though

Where do you think Samoa Joe ended up last week after being kidnapped?

I'm thinking he was left with the White Hummer, and with Flair in the desert, and the guy who raised the briefcase

I'd love to see that happen. I can't see it happening for a few reasons, though.

I think WWE has most of their top guys locked up at the moment. Obviously Cena and Orton are probably signed for lengthy time.
Edge and CM Punk aren't going anywhere. HHH is family, and Shawn and Taker are royalty. Jericho is right there too.

So it really seems almost impossible. The other major thing is motivation. Anyone who's that big of a star in WWE isn't going to be upset with how they're being used. They'd obviously much rather be a major star where they are than in TNA.

And the most important thing is money. Anyone who's main event or uppermidcard in WWE is making cash that TNA can't even come close to matching.

The biggest star WWE has that I could conceivably see going to TNA is Big Show. Mainly because he's friends with Hogan, and I would imagine the WWE schedule is tough on him.
Still, I even doubt that.

Jeritron

It seems like personal problems and heat with Vince would be the only thing that could cause a top guy to jump at this point. Like Angle did.

I'm really liking they way they are making the titles seem important. I would definately put the Global belt on Kennedy going into Monday. Reason being is that people know Kennedy. You can make Rob Terry by having him chase Kennedy for the title

Supreme Olajuwon
02-25-2010, 10:20 PM

really liked the show last night. Like I said though, The Nasty Boys need to go. That was the only sour part of the show.

I definately approve of the way they are putting thier titles over. Two great segments last night. The Global Title video package they put together was nice.

Althought in saying that, I do think they need to move the X Title belt off of Williams. I think that belt should always look like they #2 belt in the company and Williams just doesn't seem like anything special to me. RVD should come in and take that.

I did like the ending where Nigel stayed in and helped AJ and Flair attack the babyfaces. I'm glad he's getting a nice push like that.

I can't stand the fact of how TNA has turned Abyss into such a damn pussy. I couldn't really give two shits about an abyss match now.

Seeing the Nasties again last night made feel really old...

Meh, at least the show was something to keep my mind off of my strep throat.

Mr. Anderson.... Anderson thing needs to stop. He's not bad on the mic but doing that stuipd catchphrase ruins the whole promo for me.

Jordan
02-26-2010, 01:16 PM
I actually have liked Anderson for the past two weeks, he has been himself in the promos and I like that.

Fucking hate the Nasty Boys, GOD I HATE THEM.

I hate Super Mex on the mic stop doing that to him please, and stop doing it to me.

Morgan was obviously watching some old Hogan tapes but his promo was fantastic.

I hate watching Abyss scream.

I get sick of seeing Bischoff every other segment, even though he is generally good on camera.

What X-Division?

No Pope? No ratings.

I literally hope Abyss eats Ric Flair, so I don't have to watch him anymore, the good memories are enough.

Week by week this show is becoming a bigger clusterfuck than the last.

i know this sounds crazy, but i think the nasty boys in TNA is a good thing
i mean everytime the are wrestling i really want them to legitimately get the shit beat out of them, that's the sign of a good heel right?

Mr. Nerfect
02-27-2010, 06:03 AM
The one good thing that The Nasty Boys have done in TNA, are that they have made Team 3D look fresh, as if that were possible.

I really don't like this Abyss stuff. I don't even know what it is about it, I just don't like it. It actually makes me want to not watch. But so many guys in TNA actually do make me want to watch.

is anyone else bothered that the Dudleys have turned face and heel like 5 times in the past 6 months?

Yes and no. Yes, because you do notice the flip-flopping. No, because they truthfully become such a stale act if they remain as one or the other. I've never been a big fan of Team 3D, but the changes often mean that something is happening with them, and it makes me pay a little more attention to them.

When Hogan turns heel at the 3/8 show which I think that's when it will happen, He will bring Abyss over to the heel side as well which means "The Monster" Abyss is back!
I hope

Mr. Nerfect

I think it's more likely Hogan and Abyss win, and as a result, Abyss gets a title match against Styles at Destination X.
