View Full Version : Check out this week's Superstars spoilers
* Kane b. Mike Knox after a chokeslam.
* World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho b. Goldust with the Walls of Jericho.
* Kofi Kingston b. Chavo Guerrero
- Kofi won pretty easily, but we were just getting settled in and I didn't catch much of the match.
* William Regal vs. Evan Bourne
- Good match. It was tough for Evan to do all his good moves because Regal is old and doesn't move very easily. But Bourne got the win with Airborne and he seemed to get a good pop from the crowd.

Daniel Bryan tapped out to it last week on NXT. It was an old school Liontamer at that

Pretty interesting to see Jericho wrestling lower level guys like Daniel Bryan and Goldust in these last two weeks. Not really use to seeing the champion work so often in relatively meaningless matches. Reminds me of way back in the day when the world champ would wrestle some random guy on a a show, make him look good by allowing him to get some offense in, and then beat him decisively, like the champ should.

What I'd like to know is, does this mean we should take this as a sign that Goldust is a part of SmackDown! now?

Why not? He's got to break this discouraging losing streak sometime soon, FFS.

Superstars didn't even come back until April of last year, after about an 8 year absence from the airwaves...it's not supposed to be a major show, it just helps to build some of the backstory to certain "key" feuds going on in the WWE, and gives talent that might not ever get hardly any screen time on RAW or SmackDown!, their moment in the light.

That, and/or gives a platform to televise dark matches :)

The matches on Superstars are usually pretty damn good.
