Who do you want to get the final spot, and who do you think should get it?
I'm a big Goldust mark, so I want him to get it...
but I say it goes to Ezekiel Jackson...or maybe William Regal

Kofi. I have zero doubt of this

Yeah...you got a point. But like the WWE, I seem to have forgotten about him

I think Evan Bourne would be great in the mitb match. I have a feeling its going to Kofi though.

good call
I have a feeling it'll be McIntyer. They already put him in another qualifier and he lost. There's no point to that unless he's going to get in at the end.

I think Kofi will get the last spot, but I think Vince will add Drew McIntyre anyway, since he is the chosen one and he should be on the card if Sheamus is that's what I think. I am surprised they didn't just go with ten combatants as it is 2010. I know it would be really clustered but it makes sense.

Given Triple H's lack of build up for this Wrestlemania, I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we see Triple H destroy Sheamus at Mania, enter MITB, win it, and then cash in on the same night.
Something tells me that THIS will be the year that someone cashes in on MITB and/or enters MITB after already having fought a match.

Really? First Shawn Michaels and now Triple-H :nono:

I think he might do a run-in. Or to be even more dickish, let MITB go on with the 8 scheduled participants for awhile, and when everyone is tired, have McIntyre come out and cut a promo stating that Vince has allowed him in because he is STILL undefeated. He then wins easily.

I'd rather him get involved, but not win. If anyone in this match NEEDS to win, it's Christian.

I could see him not being in it but getting a title defense at Mania.
I could also see him running out and taking the briefcase while everyone is down, then simply running off with it.

I agree with this, but at the same time I just don't think they'd be putting Swagger and several others in the match if they're going to leave Kofi off the card.
That's what makes me all but certain that Kofi takes the last spot.
I could see Vince adding Mcintyre to MITB as a 9th entrant, because of that whole angle with him being Vince's pet/upset that he's not in the match.
But I can't understand why Kofi would get bumped from the card, especially given who's in that match.
An outside possibility would be that Kofi somehow factors into that Legacy storyline as Orton's handpicked tag partner. I saw that suggested on here. It seems like a stretch, but it could happen.
It almost seems sensible considering that they've gone and done Orton vs Dibiase already on Raw, and now there's a handicap match tonight. Not to mention the other scraps between them. Seems like they're really putting them in the ring a lot for a program that's supposed to have a mania match.

Evan Bourne vs. William Regal tonight. Go Regal since he was one of my guesses...although Bourne makes the match that much better.

Yeah, Kofi's the latest example of WWE randomly "giving up" on somebody.
Unless they bump it to 10 participants and have Drew/Kofi in...but that'd be WAY too much

Ok, the match based on qualifying matches has been decided. Aside from the possibilities of physically being taken out of the match, it includes
RAW
Christian
Evan Bourne
Jack Swagger
MVP
Smackdown
Dolph Ziggler
Kane
Shelton Benjamin
Matt Hardy
Does anyone but Christian stand out as someone who could win? Could be what they want us to think. Speaking as a peep, I like his chances, but they could always push someone else that way. I surely didn't see Kennedy win the MITB match at WM 23...not with Orton, Edge, and Booker T. in it.

i can see Kane or MVP winning MITB this year if christian does not
But I am expecting alot of insane moments this year probably from Bourne(shooting star press off a ladder), Benjamin,Hardy(Twist of fate from top a ladder), Christian,Swagger
Gutwench powerbomb from atop a ladder).

I think what TPWW needs most right now is another MITB thread
Evil Vito

It's odd really. Cole said on Superstars that MITB would be 10 participants this year...but the WWE.com article on MITB makes it sound like McIntyre was only given a chance to be a bonus 9th guy by Vince.
If the latter is part of the storyline, I wonder how they get Kofi in there (if they do go with 10 guys)
Mr. Nerfect
03-13-2010, 01:30 AM
Eh, I hope it's not ten guys. I like the idea of sneaking it up to nine, as it makes Drew McIntyre look like a slimy bastard. But I think they have everyone they need in there now. Stone Cold Steve Austin could let Kofi qualify (in which case I think he will definitely win), but I still think Randy Orton & Kingston teaming to face Legacy is the way to go.
As for some spots we can expect to see: I feel like this is a place for Evan Bourne, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger to earn their stripes. I could definitely see an Air Bourne off the ladder, with either Ziggler or Swagger taking it and earning some bonus points backstage. Or, we might just see Bourne hit the move off a ladder onto standing opponents outside. I could see Swagger taking the move, to be honest.
Evil Vito

I think Drew will either win it, or if not he'll feud with the winner. If that were the case, it stands to reason then that the winner would come from SmackDown. It could be a chance to give Shelton Benjamin a huge rub, feud with Drew...only for Drew to somehow win the case.
Mr. Nerfect
03-15-2010, 12:19 AM
That would fit with the more "slimy" character they've given Drew, Vito. But personally, I am sort of hoping that McIntyre wins. I think he'll get drafted to RAW, so I could see him feuding with Christian over the briefcase.
