Any of you stuck a flash drive in your 360 and watched a movie or tv show that was ahem... on a boat with Capt Jack Sparrow?

I plugged my flash drive in and it said I had to connect to xboxlive to get an update to watch it. I am very weary of Microsoft seeing I have an illegal movie being watched on their system and have a fear of them bricking my system/banning from xbox live as I have heard stories about people attempting to watch pirated movies/etc on it and their system being banned or what have you.

ANyone know anything about this?

What? Where have you heard this? How can they even check if it's pirated? The only thing, to my knowledge, that MS can check for is if you have hacked firmware.

i have watched 6342435345 illegally downloaded videos on my xbox and it is fine. all it wants to do is download a media codec package or something.

lol quit being paranoid. they can't tell if something is real or fake.

Also, just network your computer to your 360 so you can stream from your PC. Don't even bother with flash drives.

Yeah, guess I look stupid but I dont have the extra 300-400 bucks right now if they did brick my system. Reason being is I want to take the xbox to the bedroom to use as a DVD player replacement (I am sick of burning discs)

I heard that it wont play pirated discs or games or whatever and when you try it bricks your system.
