Since most of the rookies and pros seem to dislike each other, would a New Blood style feud work where someone like a Daniel Bryan leads the group? Or at least a smaller version just dealing with the face rookies and heel pros.
WWE has done it before with Elijah Burke leading the early weeks of WWE-ECW but the whole group was heels compared to the mix of heels and faces of the NXT rookies.

Meh, by the end of it the Rookies will respect the Pros. Maybe not Daniels and Miz, since that will end up as a feud but the rest will be fine. Right now it just seems the Pros (Majority of them) just do not want to be on the show and take their frustrations of being forced on their rookies.

I can't help but feel that none of them actually have any hope of going anywhere except for Daniel Bryan.

Yeah WWE would be smart to take an idea that WCW did in it's worst period in history and apply it to their new cutting edge brand of TV. Good thinkin.

Since when does NXT have a World Title, and when did David Arquette start on the show?

It wasn't a bad idea, tbh. It was just executed as awfully as they possibly could.

Yeah they shouldn't use the WCW version since that ended up badly but the WWE ECW version using Burke was good for the short time the group was together.

Like making the millionaires the faces and the young and hungry workhorses of the company heels.
