I fucking HATED it. So stupid!

But it was covered for weeks. Why?

Juan

Because he's Hulk Hogan.

True dat, I probably had already answered my own question with the clout that man still has (sadly enough) in his TNA "grand re-mastering".

Because Hogan was ridiculously over.

Are you trying to imply that Hulk Hogan is Mr. America? Hulk Hogan doesn't wear a mask. Mr. America clearly wore a mask. Therefore they are not the same people.

This guy is the only one who gets it. WWE should bring Mr. America back. He would work well on the RAW roster when going head to head against Hogan and TNA.

All I remember from this angle was Stephanie's face after finding out who she had "blindly signed" for Smackdown.

this was actually a fairly interesting storyline althow you'd have to be mentally challenged not to realise they are the same person.... then again WWE managment seems to be pretty stupid so I guess it might be believable

On a serious note, they totally ripped this whole angle from me. Literally a month or two before, I had run a similar angle in the e-fed I was playing at the time. I had some "contractual issues" or something, don't remember the details... but the result was me putting on a mask, slightly changing my name and claiming I wasn't the same person, even though it was painfully obvious that I was.

Then weeks later WWE does the Mr. America bit.

I claim full credit, of course.

Mr. America has a whiter and thicker mustache. Also the pants are different. Clearly different people. Plus hogan is clearly bald, Mr. America could have a full head of hair under the mask.

The best thing about this angle was Vince's face as he came down to the ring after Mr. America's debut.

The reason this angle was pushed so much is because Hogan was the right gay at the right time.

I could do with the first 20 seconds or so.

God damn what an ass.

Another angle that would have been interesting if it had played out. Unfortunately Hogan left, and they settled with 'look what happened last week! It was Hogan! He's fired!'

Such a lame ending to an angle.

It ended like that because there was a money issue and Hogan left. Kinda like when they built up the Stone Cold vs the Coach angle, then out of nowhere Austin was gone.

Well some people are so dumb as to still think there was 2 people portraying the warrior and kane in wwe (thats obviously discounting festus as kane and taker using kanes attire). So it wouldn;t suprise me if theres some knuckledraggers out there that didnt figure it out. :nono:

Interesting, never realised Hogan had wrestled with a mask outside of mr america. Also never realised that real american used to be played right from the start of the song like that. :y:
