I know alot of the main events at Wrestlemania are discussed, but what are some matches at Mania that you like that don't get as much praise.

Some that I feel are:
Mr. Perfect vs. The Blue Blazer- WM 5

Ted Dibiase vs. Jake The Snake Roberts-WM 6

The Rockers vs. The Orient Express
Macho King Randy Savage vs. The Ultimate Warrior- WM 7 (people know about the match, but nobody really discusses it. It's one of my favorite matches)

Shawn Michaels vs. Tito Santana
Bret Hart vs. Roddy Piper-Wrestlemania 8

The Steiner Brothers vs. The Headshrinkers
Bret Hart vs. Yokozuna- WM 9 (I also think this is a solid Wrestlemania in general and I don't understand the hate it gets)

Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart- WM 10- when was the last time an opener was the match of the night well probably TLC but that's besides the point haha.

Owen Hart and Yokozuna vs. The Smoking Gunns- WM 11

The Undertaker vs. Diesel- WM 12

Triple H vs. Goldust
Owen Hart and The British Bulldog vs. Mankind and Vader- WM 13

Taka Michinoku vs. Aguila
Triple H vs. Owen Hart- WM 14

Shane McMahon vs. X-Pac- WM 15

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho- WM 2000

Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit
Triple H vs. The Undertaker- WM 17 (I feel besides the Royal Rumble 2003 that this is the best match between Angle and Benoit)

The Undertaker vs. Ric Flair
Triple H vs. Chris Jericho-WM 18 (yeah it was the main event, but people were tired by this time. The match was acutally pretty good and deserves more praise)

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon- WM 19- I liked HBK vs. Y2J in 2003 and it's my favorite match of theres along with the one they had at Judgment Day 2008, I thought the Unsanctioned Match was overrated but the Ladder Match made up for it. I never really got into that feud)

Christian vs. Chris Jericho-WM 20

Eddie Guerreo vs. Rey Mysterio
Randy Orton vs. The Undertaker- WM 21

Edge vs. Mick Foley
John Cena vs. Triple H- WM 22 (I'm probably the only person that enjoys this event and match it's my second favorite mania of all time)

Nothing really from WM 23

John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Triple H- WM 24 it's a lot better than people make it out to be

Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy- WM 25

Jericho vs. Michaels on a list of "underrated" matches?

Seriously?

I'm not saying it's overrated (it's not), but many consider it one of the best matches in Mania history.

The Rockers didn't face the Orient Express at Wrestlemania VII. They opened the card against Haku and the Barbarian. On to my list:

The Rockers v Haku and the Barbarian (WM 7)
Headshrinkers v Steiner Brothers (WM 9)
Legion of Doom and Ahmed Johnson v Nation of Domination (WM 13)
Shawn Michaels v Diesel (WM 11)
Randy Savage v Crush (WM 10)
Chris Beniot v Kurt Angle (WM 17)
Kurt Angle v Kane (WM 18)
Raven v Big Show v Kane (WM 17)

And the entire Wrestlemania 2000 (Mania 16) card, when taken as a whole event.

Yea, this match not being considered one of the best of alltime (deservedly so) is news to me...

I was going to mention Christian vs Jericho.

I think Cena/HHH is a bit underrated. Aside from the upcoming match of Cena/Batista, it's probably the defining matchup of the era. It's definitely a true main event. Obviously the crowd is a big part of it's appeal.

It's hard to tell whats underrated and overrated from this current era because they haven't really started hocking the legacy of the matches and moments of the present yet.

Oh and Undertaker v Diesel (WM 12)

WM 12 was easily one of the highlights of my childhood. I was really into wrestling at that point and I still remember the build to Taker/Diesel being some of the best storytelling ever. I remember GASPING when I saw a waxed out Diesel in the casket and then the time "Taker came in from under the ring to pull big D down with him.....Vintage Taker.

So yes I am concurring with you on this selection.

The Triangle Ladder match at 2000. Everyone always talks about TLC 2, I thought this was just as good if not better.

Warrior vs Savage is a good choice too. Incredible match that is hardly talked about

I agree, but on the other hand, I think the crowd sort of hurt the match as well. The whole "Rock/Hogan" effect can make matches, but in John Cena's case, I think it really hurt him. If Triple H was not getting face pops because he wasn't Cena, and Cena was more effectively presented as a face -- I think the match would get more credit for telling the intended story of a new face being established as the "unstoppable force" in World Wrestling Entertainment.

That portion of his career represents why Cena was so loathed as a face for a long period of time. He was overproduced (big entrances can be cool, but Cena's platform from the ceiling at the 2006 Royal Rumble highlights just how "company" he was), booked to be invincible, and was forced down our throats as being this figure of infallible virtue. Yuck.
