Anyone else like the way this is been played out at the moment??? I've been pretty entertained so far, more than I thought I would anyway.

Just wait til he actually wrestles a match at the PPV...then you'll remember why you were dreading his push

After playing his APA gimmick for so long, it's difficult to see him any in other role. I do like it, but it could have looked so much better if he'd saved his new look for when he started this gimmick.

Poeple on the 'net are going to crap on the Eddie-Bradshaw match no matter how good it is. I mean it probably wont be the usual WWE PPV main event quality, but at the same time, not everyone can be Eddie, Angle, Benoit or HBK.
I love the gimmick so far, Bradshaw does a good job with it, and it actually makes sense. The only problem I have with the push is that it seems very rushed. The last time we seen Bradshaw in the ring, I believe he took a pinfall from Riksihi, to me that doesn't make a main eventer. What I think they should have been doing is having him kill some JOB-guys on TV to let people know he's a new man in the ring as well.
But I dont expect a 4 star match, I just want to see Bradshaw work hard and go all out, considering how big of an opportunity this is for him. I really dislike Bradshaw (from what I hear about him backstage), but even I can admit he is entertaining and if he works hard at Judgment Day I wont crap on him. He's been with the company for a long time and this is his first big break, hopefully people dont criticize him for not being Chris Benoit, because guess what? He's not Chris Benoit, never will be.

I agree with CyNick. A proper build-up for Bradshaw as a main event heel would've included some wins over midcarders to make him more believable as an in-ring threat.
The character works great. But a series of clean wins over HC Holly, Billy Gunn, Rikishi, hell even keeping Ron Simmons around long enough for Bradshaw to pin him in the ring would've worked...From a fan standpoint he's just the same old Bradshaw with new packaging. That might not have been the case ( or at least not as much) if the new character concided with a winning streak.
Gota reiterate: love the character, though.

Just look at his new book..."Killing Towelheads: how give terrorism a clothesline from Hell..."
It's already voted #1 book of the year by TPWW's Mein Kampf book club (Ninti and Real Deal).

I find his music hilarious. Especially the steer mooing.
Anyway, JBL is a great character, still horrible wrestler. But the great character makes it bearable.

What he said. The character is awesome. Makes me want to hate the fu</>ck out of him, and not in a way that leads to turning the TV off.

Yeah, the problem comes the minute he wrestles again. Then we're all sol...
I'll come around to JBL once he starts going over some bigger stars (i.e. Cena, RVD).
As much as it pains me to see something like that happen. :(

If he has a bit of zing in the ring, he's all good. I think the only way he can be any good is if he wrestles his gimmick.
Also, the safest way to have a decent match is the body part isolation psychology, it worked for Taker when he was at his worst, it could work for Bradshaw.

Also, keeping him out of the ring as much as possible would be good. He's a blue chipper...Why should he lower himself to fighting?
Well Taker has proven himself in the past, despite how bad he is now. Isolation Psychology works fine for him.
As much as I despise Bradshaw's ability to wrestle, I still think he needs to have some kind of win over a big star, even if it's by cheating. Bradshaw has to look somewhat credible as a challenger for the WWE Title.
Take that as you wish.

Nah, he's not bad right now. However there was a period between 2000-2001 where he was by far the worst worker in the company. I think he was really thrown off by the injury that kept him out for about a year.

He should still beat someone, just keep him out of the ring most of the time. He doesn't fight with his fists--He's a blue chipper! He bights with his intellect (Heeeeeyuck).

I think it would be good if they took one of the guys in limbo and just had him "manage" them to help them out and keep them out of the ring...then he could have a kick ass character and not bore us in the ring
