SyFy released the following today, confirming what we had previously reported here on PWInsider.com about SyFy replaying the previous week's episode of NXT prior to the new episode airing, giving them a two hour block of the show every Tuesday.

SYFY LAUNCHES WWE NXT “CATCH-UP ON THE COMPETITION” EPISODES BEGINNING TUESDAY, APRIL 6, AT 9PM (ET/PT)

Leads Into Premiere NXT Telecasts at 10PM (ET/PT)

New York, NY – April 2, 2010 – To keep fans up-to-date on the gripping new reality series WWE NXT, Syfy will launch a weekly “catch-up on the competition” episode beginning Tuesday, April 6, at 9PM (ET/PT).

The hour-long encore presentation of the previous week’s program will lead into all-new WWE NXT telecasts at 10PM (ET/PT). Since it premiered, WWE NXT has averaged more than 1.4 million total viewers, 628,000 Adults 18-49 and 629,000 Adults 25-54 along with a 1.1 household rating.

WWE NXT is a unique combination of heart-stopping entertainment and gritty behind-the-scenes reality. The NXT Rookie stars of the series take the challenge of the Syfy tagline ‘Imagine Greater’ to heart as they embark on their ultimate dream quest to join the next generation of WWE Superstars.

i still don't get how it's a "reality" show, the voting? if they want to portray it as a reality show they should follow the guys around as they travel and backstage, not just this promo crap that they do to introduce themselves

They did do reality-esque introduction packages at the beginning. Also the camera angles are different. And there's voting.

well nearly all of the 'reality' shows have segments that have been made up sometimes its all of the show that has been scripted and made up, so in that respect its just like a reality show.

A lot of the "Reality" stuff just comes off as what an actual WRESTLING show is about. Like the interviews and angles they have just as they come in the curtain.

They're booking it more like an old school show, honestly.

SyFy probably realizes that the hours before NXT are running against LOST, and they don't have much hope of keeping their primary audience tuned in. Might as well go for the wrestling market

I love NXT. Dunno if I'm gonna watch the replays of what I already saw, though.
