No idea what this is about, but I will vote for Kurt Angle.

The Promo's between Rock and HBK would be incredible i imagine. Michaels can pull a great match out of the Rock as well so that would be a great match to have witnessed. Especially the build up.

1997-1998 Sting vs. Early to Mid 1999 Undertaker was my choice. During that time, those were the 2 characters I loved the most. Although Sting may have peaked prior to this, I think that this would tell a great story.

1997 Sting vs. this Undertaker would be better as far as work rate goes.... well I mean Sting was better in the early 90s but that dark character vs. the undertaker of any generation works.

Sting vs. Undertaker could be fucking instant classic.

All of those. The WWE would make MAJOR cash on this. They'd all be great honestly. It's too hard to pick just one.

I feel like Angle vs Bret would give the better match, but the feud that would have made the most money in the heyday would have been Austin vs Goldberg. Every single wrestling fan in that time would have had to pick a side, and lived or died by it. Of course it's a pipe dream, but that could have trumped Hogan vs Andre in my opinion.

Angle VS Hart.

However, if it were to happen now, I'd have gone with Cena VS Rock. Probably the only match that wouldn't terribly blow.

I voted for Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle. Two of the greatest technical wrestlers of all-time (hell, probably considered the very best two), and patriots of their respective countries. They've even got a good visual dynamic, with similar ring attire, distinctive colour schemes, one being bald and one having the long hair. It'd probably have been one of the greatest matches of all-time.

All of those are win, though. Austin vs. Goldberg would have made arguably the most money, with Hogan vs. Austin being a close second. The Rock and HBK would have had a classic, too; and would probably be somewhere between Austin/Goldberg and Hart/Angle -- making more money than Hart/Angle, but not being quite the in-ring classic.

I can't believe Austin vs. Goldberg doesn't have more votes. I would have killed to see that match in like 1998

2. Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle
3. Jura vs my mom/other (2 on 1 handicap match)

Pretty sure HBK/Rock would be better

If I missed any other dream matches I'd appreciate it if someone listed it. These were all I could think of at the moment.

People forget Goldberg's superficial contributions to the wrestling industry.

I'd love to have seen Bret V Benoit. As far as I remember they only wrestled once on Nitro as a tribute to Owen but those 2 on PPV would have been awesome!

I voted for HBK/Rock before reading this, I agree with him!

Although I would love all of these matchups, for me...it has to be Austin vs. Goldberg

The reason? I began watching wrestling in 1998, primarily WCW. Goldberg was the first wrestler I ever marked for (and for that reason, I'll always mark for him...I was one of the few posters here that was happy when he came to WWE in 2003 and marked when he won the World Heavyweight Title, couldn't help it).

Then I started watching WWF as well, and, of course, marked for Austin. So like everybody else I wanted to see Austin/Goldberg...and I still do since it never happened. The match would more than likely suck if they did it today, and I'm pretty certain Austin would be the winner...but still, I'd mark out at the fact that it happened.

Kurt Angle vs. Bret Hart would be the ultimate dream match. But to be honest, I would have a hard time choosing that vs. an in-ring promo between The Rock and a rapper-gimmicked John Cena

I'm dead spli between Austin/Goldberg and Bret/Angle. Bret and Angle would no doubt put on a helluva wrestling match, and would have torn the house down. Austin and Goldberg, however, would have had an atmosphere similar to, if not bigger than Rock/Hogan. Can you imagine the crowd noise?

Should watch that match from that Nitro where they did a tribute to Owen. Awesome match, just watch that and i'm sure you'll be satisfied.

Rock vs HBK i'd say by a very slim margin over Hart vs Angle as I think the build and payoff would be better in the end but the latter would undoubtedly be an absolute clinic to say the least.
