Would a return be welcomed? Yes or no, and why?

As long as he covers his large Ass up.

I'm not particularly interested in it. The guy was never a brilliant worker, and he's getting so much older now (he debuted in 1985 and is 44 years old). During the Attitude era, he was over and he was known, but he never really evolved into much of a character to the point where bringing him back would just be more of the "same old shit."

Maybe if they do another "Gimmick Battle Royal" they could put him in it, and actually have win, or something -- but a permanent return is hard to see as exciting.

Only if he's 'Make a Difference' Fatu.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Anyway, I think Fatu was ever really entertaining as one of the Headshrinkers. Outside of that, I never enjoyed him.

If I had to re-insert Rikishi somewhere on WWE programming, it would truthfully be as "Make a Difference" Fatu. I think a modern day spin on that character could be a guilty pleasure. Maybe make him a manager, though. They've got two Fatus down in FCW at the moment (going by the ring names "Jimmy Uso" and "Jules Uso"). You could have Fatu manage them.

If he can still go then absolutely. Always liked big guys that could move and sell. He was great at both.

I was watching some German wrestling show on The Wrestling Channel over here one boring night and he either can't still go, or couldn't be bothered to do it on some random German show.

Did he ever wrestle when he was in TNA? How'd he go there?

That's too bad, but I wouldn't expect anything else. I mean 400 lb guys legs don't usually last too long but he's managed to get 25 years out of them. That's pretty incredible actually.

Yes. He could put over newer and younger talent and be a mentor.

Put him in a stable with CM Punk? :shifty:

If they made him a ruthless bastard like Umaga, then yeah. I was a pretty big Too Cool mark so I can't say no to a Rikishi return.

I'd be sad. Rik always looked dumb to me. Maybe if he had wore some goddamn pants.

I don't really care much one way or another. I think it'd be welcomed in general though, which is probably more important.

I doubt he'll ever be a moneymaker, but....

I'd love to see him and Samu do some tag matches again as The Headshrinkers.

Maybe with The Steiners, Dudleys and Hall / Nash - and definitely with some of the younger teams.

I dont know I think that might be a step back for them. The last time I saw FCW, the Usos had a stable going with Donny Marlow (Haku's son) and Snuka's daughter Tamina as the manager. I think it would be kinda a step back to bring back Rikishi when they are already establishing themselves in the ring.

The Kish could be a welcomed member back on the WWE roster. He has a link with the attitude era fans, and is a friendly enough persona to connect with these John Cena loving marks that the WWE is trying to connect with.
Personally, I could name at least a dozen people I'd rather see in WWE right now. The Kish would be drab in my eyes.

They should bring him back as Unaga.

Eddie was worlds better in my opinion.
