If some screenshots are to be believed, a number of classic Dreamcast and PC titles are about to be released on Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade service for the 360.

The screens, captured by MasterChief over on the Digiex forums, reportedly show a number of pre-release screenshots for Xbox Live Arcade verisons of Crazy taxi and Quake Arena (which has been coming for an eternity), while mention is also made of Sonic Adventure and a bunch of SNK games we already knew about, like King of Fighters 2002, Metal Slug XX and Battle Coliseum.

The presence of those already-announced-for-Japan games lends the list some credence, and while it'll be nice to play one more round of Crazy Taxi, Quake Live might be the real winner of the bunch.

Screens (nothing too interesting, but still) I'm hoping the resizer works because they are huge. Click them if you want to open a smaller version in a new window:

It isn't something I'd play for an hour, but it was always the best time waster imaginable. Most my XBLA games serve that purpose, Crazy Taxi will fit right in.

I got Final Fight for that reason. Good times all around.

Yeah, but like Kalyx, most of my XBLA games are played like that. I love Geometry Wars 1+2, but I won't play them for an hour.

Actually, I've lost interest in long term gaming sprees for the most part. I think it's the only thing that has kept me from finishing games like GoW 3...Playing one save point at a time breaks up the flow really bad, so I only want to play it when I have the attention span to do whole levels or nearly so.

Oddly enough, music games are about the only thing I'll play for an hour or two regularly. And those are practically hand made to be pick up and play. Especially the newer ones.

So yeah. All I need for my XBLA library is the occasional fresh blast to break up my other gaming sprees. I have a ton of XBLA titles that are totally "short burst" games anyway. Bring it on!

and I might like Earthworm Jim, but I never played it before, so I have no reason to anticipate it. I'll def. grab the demo though.

I've never played JSR either. If it does come to XBLA, I'll definitely download it.

I wish TimeSplitters: Future Perfect was 360 compatible or available on XBLA. I saw it for £2.99 the other day and really wanted to pick it up.

Sonic Adventure could have DLC

Last weekend’s PartnerNET leaks of several in-progress titles for XBOX Live arcade included Sonic Adventure. In video form, scattered playthroughs were made available through other channels, and for the most part, they have been removed by the respective providers.

But amid some of the video that was briefly released this week were two items of note for the coming XBLA edition. First, some playthroughs showcased a menu option to download content for the game, available below the Help & Options menu.

Were that not enough to affirm DLC, other videos showed off menus detailing the availability of both Sonic Adventure as standalone, and two “extend packages.” There is rampant speculation one of those packages could the Director’s Cut. It’s not immediately clear what the other could be.

So, it looks like gamers could get the original SA first, with the option to purchase the Director’s Cut at a later date. As is the standard for most items on the service, nothing is set in stone yet, and we don’t even have a formal announcement for Sonic Adventure XBLA yet. We’ll be sure to follow up on anything else we hear.

The guy that revealed JSR may be lying (http://www.tssznews.com/2010/04/26/claims-of-jet-set-radio-shenmue-partnernet-leak-disputed/).

He also claimed that Shenmue II was heading to the 360 XBLA:
