I have always been a WWF/E fan. But I must admit that TNA Wrestling has pretty much attracted me over the years with some quality matches.

All I want to say is that I find it highly dumb to compare TNA with WWE. Hence I feel disgusted with the whole "Monday Night Wars" crap. For me TNA shall always be a sober alternative to WWE.

Thanks for your time.

People desperately want it to be a real "Monday Night Wars" deal, so they treat it as such.

If you want it to be true, it is true.

Hasn't this already been thoroughly discussed in 1,000 different threads, as well as each weekly Impact/RAW thread, since TNA moved to Mondays?

If TNA didn't want to have people look at it as the Monday Night Wars, perhaps they shouldn't have moved to Mondays and started calling it the Monday Night Wars.

TNA isn't in the same league as WWE yet and if they don't start to shape up they never will be to call this a war would be like calling my foot stomping on a roach a bareknuckle streetfight

It really comes down to the IWC leaches like Zero and other smarks having something to talk about. This is not a war, and to call it anything close to it makes you a retard. The IWC makes shit up, and runs with it.

lol are you suggesting I'm calling this a war?

Bischoff is. Hogan is. I'm not.

that doesn't stop the regulars from beating topics to death....

Did they call it the Monday Night Wars? I'm pretty sure you're being faceteious, but since I can't remember, it's hard to tell.

Yes, Bischoff and Hogan (at least Hogan, anyway) have been on record as saying that "it's war" etc etc etc. They have been the ones promoting it as the war.

Dixie Carter's twitter:

"Hogan to debut Jan 4 in a live 3 hr iMPACT! special up against Raw. How's that for a 1st shot? Spread the word. PLS RT"

1st shot? I don't think she's talking about basketball.

I see the phrase "Monday Night Wars" in there a couple times, too. that proves it's not a construct of the IWC and fantards, but what Dixie herself said. I take your point on the term "war," but then, she's hardly promoting anything that wasn't already promoted prior when TNA painted themselves as competing with WWE.

Calling TNA the "sober" alternative to WWE is pretty funny actually. Ask Jeff Hardy how sober he's been since joining.

Let's not forget Hall. Dude look like you could blow legally drunk just by wrestling him. But calling TNA a sober alternative is funny for other reasons, too. TNA has been trying so hard to take on WWE for years now, to look like the big kid, and to disastrous results.
